The disk drive includes a main chassis; a tray operatively coupled to the main chassis such that the tray is slidable relative to the main chassis, the tray including a disk accommodation portion configured to accommodate a storage medium such that the storage medium is rotatable relative to the disk accommodation portion; and a noise reduction unit configured to reduce a pressure concentration on an end portion of the storage medium as the storage medium rotates to reduce noise.

The adjusting mechanism includes a phase adjusting device which is installed on the deck, for supporting one end of at least one of first and second shafts to adjust the phase, and a complex adjusting device which is rotatably installed on the deck, for supporting the other end of the at least one shaft to adjust the tilt and phase. Therefore, the optical disk drive can store a large amount of information in a disk by a highly precise deck mechanism and be stably installed regardless of the installation direction and position thereof. Further, a tray can be ejected without electric power and simple and convenient assembling and maintenance thereof are guaranteed.

The optical disk player further has a horizontal phase adjusting device installed at an end portion of at least one of the guide shafts, and for moving the guide shaft in a horizontal direction to adjust phase errors of the optical pickup. Thus, phase error correction is facilitated.
