  • Publication number: 20240155751
Abstract: A smart lighting device may be configured to be controlled in response to control instructions in messages and/or phase-control signals. The smart lighting device may determine whether to respond to the phase-control signal or the control instructions in messages. The smart lighting device may be configured to recognize whether it is electrically connected to a smart load control device or a non-smart load control device. A load control device may determine whether it is electrically connected to a mixed circuit or a non-mixed circuit. When the load control device determines that the circuit is a mixed circuit, the load control device may transmit phase-control signals and control instructions in messages at the same time. The load control device may determine that a smart lighting device has been added (e.g., electrically connected) to the circuit it is electrically connected to.

  • Publication number: 20240152612
Abstract: A cloud-based operating-system-event and data-access monitoring method includes collecting event information from a monitored cloud-based element. One or more structured event payloads based on the event information is then generated. The structured event payloads that produce one or more validated event collections are then validated. The one or more validated event collections are then serialized and filtered to remove redundant structured event payload data. The filtered validated structured event payloads are then de-serialized to produce a time-sequenced, ordered event stream. The time-sequenced, ordered event stream is de-duplicated to remove duplicate structured event payloads. The time-sequenced ordered event stream is then processed to generate processed information security results.

  • Patent number: 11960264
Abstract: A load control system may control an electrical load in a space of a building based on one or more parameters regarding the physical condition of an occupant. The parameters may be gathered by one or more sensing devices. The sensing devices may be included in a mobile device. A system controller may receive the parameters and may automatically control the electrical loads in response to the parameters. The system controller may control the electrical load to attempt to adjust the physical condition of the occupant in response to the sensed parameters. • Patent number: 11938322
Abstract: Embodiments in accordance with the present disclosure are directed to methods and apparatuses used for slow wave activity (SWA) optimization. An example method includes receiving one or more bio-signals from a user and classifying sleep stages by processing the bio-signals. The method further include determining dominant peripheral nervous system (PNS) oscillations based on the bio-signals and as a function of time and stage of sleep, and characterizing at least one property of the dominant PNS oscillations, including a phase, a phase shift, an amplitude, and/or frequency. The method further include providing an indication of an optimal window for maximizing SWA generation based on the phase, the phase shift, the amplitude, or the frequency. The indication is provided to stimulation circuitry that delivers stimulation to the user within the optimal window. Feedback is provided responsive to the stimulation based on an EEG signal of the user.

  • Patent number: 11918881
Abstract: Described herein is a swivel mount for rotatably coupling a display to the frame of an exercise machine. The swivel mount includes a rigid arm fixed to one of the display or the terminal end of a frame member, the arm terminating with a ball at its free end. A socket is defined at the other one of the display or frame member which rotatably received the ball. A rotational resistance mechanism is operatively associated with the socket to selectively engage the ball and resist the rotation of the swivel mount. In some embodiments, the arm of the swivel mount may rotate in a conical range of motion for repositioning the display in relation to the frame while the display remains in a fixed position relative to the arm.

  • Publication number: 20230417193
Abstract: A redundant fuel metering system and method for a multi-stage combustor that utilizes a fuel metering valve EHSV from a less critical combustor stage fuel metering system as a redundant backup to the main metering valve EHSV. In the event of a failure of the main FMV EHSV, a control module signals a transfer system to switch control of the main FMV to the less critical combustor stage fuel metering system EHSV, thus maintaining control of the FMV for the main combustor. In doing this, the transfer valve then drives the less critical combustor stage fuel metering system FMV to its failsafe position while maintaining control of the main system.
