  • Publication number: 20220338962
Abstract: The method of detection of positioning of a dental implant for dental restoration involves taking a manual or digital impression of the buccal space, including a cicatrisation element secured to the implant and having an emergent surface outside the gum, and automatically detecting the positioning of the implant by identifying (i) the axis of the implant corresponding to an axis of the cicatrisation element identified by the geometry of the emergent surface or association with a cicatrisation element memorized in a database; (ii) the orientation of the implant by the orientation of the emergent surface or association with a cicatrisation element memorized in a database; and/or (iii) the height of the implant by the height of the cicatrisation element, for example based on a color or an indicator of the emergent surface or association with a cicatrisation element memorized in a database.

  • Publication number: 20210282901
Abstract: An assembly for dental restoration includes a healing element able to be connected to a dental implant, the healing element including a lateral surface intended to be integrated within a gum for the purpose of shaping the gum as the gum heals, and an end surface that forms, together with part of the lateral surface, an emergent surface that is intended to remain outside the gum and is asymmetrical with respect to at least one perpendicular median plane. The assembly for dental restoration also includes a detachable prosthesis support having a receiving part for a crown prosthesis and a linking part capable of engaging with a matching linking zone that is defined in a through-opening that is provided in the healing element.

  • Publication number: 20200008907
Abstract: A dental restoration method comprising a step of determining a positioning of a dental implant (60), integrated into a bone structure (62) of an individual, from the identification and positioning of a one-piece healing member (10), attached at one of the ends of same in the implant (60), the healing element (10) comprising a side surface (13) intended to be integrated into a gum in order to shape the gum during the healing of same, and an end surface (14), a part of the side surface (13) and of the end surface (14) forming an emergent surface, intended to remain outside the gum, that is asymmetrical relative to at least a perpendicular median plane.

  • Patent number: 8794963
Abstract: A device for centering and guiding at least one drill bit of a dental handpiece when drilling a hole in the jaw of a patient in cooperation with a surgical guide equipped with a tubular drill bushing. A support holds a tubular guide sleeve permanently in a coaxial and sliding position with respect to the drill bit. The tubular guide sleeve is able to engage with slight play in the tubular drill bushing. The support insures the engagement of the guide sleeve in the tubular drill bushing at the latest when the drill bit starts to drill in the patient's jaw, thus insuring the centering and guiding of the drill bit.
