  • Patent number: 11833614
Abstract: An assembly of a device for three-dimensional printing by metal deposition comprising a conduit for guiding a metal wire and opening inside an enclosure under an inert atmosphere. The device has means for injecting an inert gas into the conduit of the head.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 12, 2020
Date of Patent: December 5, 2023
    Assignee: Safran Aircraft Engines
Inventors: Terence Grall, Cédric Pierre Jacques Colas, Hugo Jean-Louis Sistach
  • Patent number: 11826819
Abstract: A process manufactures a metal part for a turbomachine that includes first and second metal materials with different chemical compositions. The process includes the steps of obtaining an element of which at least a first metallic part is made of the first metallic material and placing the element in a first mold and pouring wax into the mold to at least partially cover the element. The first mold has an impression corresponding to at least part of an external surface of the metal part. The process further includes obtaining an assembly by removing the first mold and making a shell mold with a first ceramic around the assembly. The process also includes removing the wax from the shell mold and pouring the second metal material into the shell mold in place of the wax, and removing any ceramics present in the assembly.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 2, 2020
Date of Patent: November 28, 2023
    Assignee: SAFRAN AIRCRAFT ENGINES
Inventors: Cédric Pierre Jacques Colas, François Pichot, Hugo Sistach, Josserand Jacques André Bassery

  • Publication number: 20220314317
Abstract: A method for manufacturing an aeronautical part utilizes injection molding. After injecting the prepared mixtures to obtain two green blanks, an assembly area of at least one of these two blanks is heated. The blanks are assembled and then debinding is carried out. A sintering treatment is then carried out.

  • Publication number: 20220234107
Abstract: A method for additive manufacturing deposits material on a part forming a substrate, wherein the part forming a substrate is made of a metal alloy. The method includes a step of low-energy deposition corresponding to a surface energy of less than 400 J/mm2, on a predefined surface to be deposited, in order to form a base layer. The method further includes a step of high-energy deposition, corresponding to a surface energy greater than 500 J/mm2, by depositing a wire on the base layer already formed.

  • Publication number: 20180214953
Abstract: Method for manufacturing a turbine engine part, said method comprising a step (101) of producing said part by powder metallurgy using a material forming the substrate of said part, then a finishing operation comprising at least one first step (103), in which a determined material is deposited onto at least one surface (S1) of the substrate of said part after the powder metallurgy production step (101), and a second step (104) corresponding to a heat treatment operation, so as to form a smooth coating for said surface (S1), characterised in that said determined material is a metal material, so as to form a metal coating.
