  • Patent number: 5353761
Abstract: A system for enhancing the efficiency of an engine includes a container for holding an oil-based liquid. Intake tubes extend into the liquid and cause air to create turbulence in the liquid. This turbulence forms particles in the container above the level of the liquid which are carried out of the container as enriched air. The enriched air is combined with air from the crankcase prior to the PCV valve. The enriched air and the air from the crank case are then provided to the intake manifold of the engine.

  • Patent number: 5065753
Abstract: A simple air-moisture generation system is provided which employs a tank holding liquid to a level which leaves an air space, above the liquid. An air compressor is provided for furnishing a source of compressed air to an inlet to the tank, and a metering valve is located in the outlet from said air compressor to control the volume and pressure of the air emanating from the compressor and inputted to the tank. An outlet passage from the tank provides the air-moisture flow, and the system preferably is provided with a switch to disable the air compressor when the liquid drops to a designated level in the tank.

  • Patent number: 5057770
Abstract: A hand-held probing device is adapted for use in testing the existence and amount of electrical potential in an automobile engine block or other object under investigation. The device has a specially formed housing from which extends a probe and a ground lead at opposite ends. The housing also includes a voltmeter and an electric bulb connected in parallel between the probe and ground lead. The housing also includes a switch which enables the device to be operated while held in one hand thus enabling the other of the user's hand to be free and usable for other functions.

  • Patent number: 4374784
Abstract: The system is adapted to improve the efficiency and smooth operation of the automobile engine and reduce pollutants expelled from the engine. The normal carburetion function is supplemented by a vacuum induction technique to supply saturated (moisture laden) air to the carburetor where it is mixed with the existing gasoline vapor passing through the carburetor throat. The system is a feedback type using air pressure, preferably filtered by the vehicle air filter (cleaner), coupled to a fuel-water liquid tank where the air passes through the liquid to provide a liquid saturated air source that feeds back to the carburetor throat preferably just above the throttle plate.

  • Patent number: 4313740
Abstract: A circular type air filter preferably for automotive applications to filter air flow to the carburetor, has an open plastic housing containing a plurality of individual cartridge filters. The cartridge filters are made of aluminum or copper wool and are of differential porosity with the more dense filters closer to the air inlet whereby the air is diffused through the filter more uniformly.
