    Abstract: Disclosed is a Video Alarm Security System (VASS) adapted to transmit image information showing detected alarm events to a communication device of a remote person allowing said person to verify the alarm event before initiating a 3-party call to a PSAP (Public Safety Answering Point) with jurisdiction over the location of said VASS. In one embodiment the 3-party conference call is established using two co-joined and bridged transceivers, A and B, wherein transceiver A is a Wi-Fi transceiver connected to an internet router to establishes an internet video call connection between the VASS and person and B is a cellular telephone transceiver adapted to establishes a bridged call connection between the VASS and PSAP. In another embodiment transceivers A and B are both cellular telephone transceivers. Methods for establishing 3-party PSAP call connections using ISP (Internet service provider) or cellular telephone company provided conference calling services are also disclosed.

    Abstract: An apparatus for the location of an object of value, such as a vehicle, includes a cell phone disposed in the vehicle and under microprocessor control. The cell phone is adapted to call an owner on detection of an alarm condition as well as to place a call to 911. The cell phone, according to a preferred embodiment, places the call to 911 under command by the owner and then establishes a three-way conference call between the owner and a 911 dispatcher who answers the 911 call. Other methods of creating the conference call and of using the apparatus are disclosed including call transfer and call relay modes of operation. Other features, including GPS coordinate acquisition and transmission, are described.

    Abstract: A Means and Methods for providing a PSAP with means for tracking the real time location of a wireless telephone that connects to an Internet server upon detection of predefined events or reception of a command from a person to do so and transmits location information and event data to said server for viewing by authorized users. The server also displays a telephone number for a PSAP having jurisdiction over the location of the wireless telephone. Said PSAP telephone numbers being stored in a server data base and providing a means whereby a person logged-onto the server can call this PSAP telephone number, explain the reason for the call, provide the call taker with log-on information allowing access to the server and the data transmitted from the wireless telephone so that he can access mapped location information showing the location of the wireless telephone and then take appropriate action.
