    Abstract: The present invention generally relates to the use of a bifunctional peptidoglycan/chitin hydrolase to reduce and/or prevent hyphae formation in a pathogen, and/or to reduce or prevent biofilm formation. The present invention further relates to a bifunctional peptidoglycan/chitin hydrolase for use in the treatment and/or prevention of pathogenic infections, in particular yeast or bacterial infections.
