    Abstract: A moisture-adaptive vapour-barrier film consisting of polyethylene and acrylic ester is proposed for the full insulation of buildings, which adapts its diffusion resistance to environmental conditions in such a way that it blocks its pores in the winter and opens its pores in the summer and the vapour-diffusion resistance of which can be changed and adjusted as a function of the proportion of the acrylic ester so as to correspond to a diffusion equivalence from 0.5 m to 100 m air-layer thickness.
