  • Publication number: 20200270395
Abstract: Disclosed are void-containing films and shrinkable films which show excellent density reduction that is retained upon exposures to high temperatures. The voiding agents are hollow glass microspheres. The shrinkable films have high shrinkage and retain their low density after processing under conditions of temperature and moisture used in typical recycling processes. The films are useful as for sleeves, labels, laminates and other shrinkable film applications, and their lower density allows them to be readily separated from soft drink bottles, food containers and the like during recycling operations.

  • Patent number: 10749565
Abstract: Systems and methods for reducing receiver de-sensitivity caused by coupling between a primary antenna and a diversity antenna. More particularly, the systems and methods reduce receiver de-sensitivity due to harmonic components associated with the signal transmitted by the primary antenna falling within a frequency band at which the diversity antenna is configured to sense signals. The systems and methods include amplifying a first signal to produce a transmission signal for transmission via the primary antenna; receiving, at the diversity antenna, a receive signal; amplifying, via a low noise amplifier, the receive signal to apply a gain to the receive signal; inverting the transmission signal; and adding the inverted transmission signal to the amplified receive signal to produce a corrected receive signal. Accordingly, the harmonic components introduced into the receive signal are canceled out via negative feedback at the radio frequency (RF) front end.

  • Publication number: 20200260218
Abstract: Techniques directed to utilizing networked devices to enhance user experience are described. In an example, sensor data received from sensor(s) associated with a facility can be used to determine a presence of a user equipment (UE) within or proximate to the facility. Based at least in part on the sensor data, an account associated with the UE can be accessed. Based at least in part on account data associated with the account, a distribution of network technology can be modified to temporarily enable the UE to access a service that is not otherwise available to at least one other UE within or proximate to the facility.

  • Publication number: 20200162233
Abstract: A circuit for performing clock recovery according to a received digital signal. The circuit includes at least an edge sampler and a data sampler for sampling the digital signal, and a clock signal supply circuit. The clock signal supply circuit provides edge clock and data clock signals offset in phase from one another to the respective clock inputs of the edge sampler and the data sampler. A digital phase detector determines if the data clock is early, late or synchronized with respect to data value transitions in the digital signal, and based on that determination provides a phase adjustment signal to the clock signal supply circuit, which is operable to vary phases of the data and edge clock signals accordingly.

  • Patent number: 10624318
Abstract: Ergonomic protective cone collars for pets, their use, and positioning are disclosed. Such cone-collars may be made of two main sections, a cone-like-structure and an integral-collar that may be attached to a base of the cone-like-structure. The integral-collar may be collar like, intended to be worn and fastened around a neck of the animal. The cone-like-structure may be made from a plurality of radially-oriented-tapered-pockets, that due to their fill and/or material of construction may be semi-rigid, imparting a degree of inherent stiffness, flexibility, and/or elasticity. The plurality of radially-oriented-tapered-pockets may be of different lengths such that the cone-like-structure has an overall scalloped shape which may provide for several benefits, such as proper coverage proximate to the animal's mouth region and less visually obscuring material at the sides of the animal's head. A cone-collar may be positioned properly on the animal via removable attachment to a harness worn by the animal.

  • Publication number: 20190351460
Abstract: This invention relates to an apparatus (10) for cleaning a helical member (52) such as a tabulator blade. The apparatus comprises opposed scrubbing brushes (32, 34) for removing deposits from the helical faces of the helical member (52) as it is passed between opposed bristles of the scrubbing brushes (32, 34). The opposed scrubbing brushes (32, 34) are mounted with the apparatus via a rotatable bearing (12) such that as the helical faces are reciprocated between the brushes, the continuously curving profile of the helical member (52) causes the brushes to rotate. Accordingly, the opposed scrubbing brushes (32, 34) maintain good contact with the helical surfaces thereby simplifying and improving the removal of deposits.

  • Patent number: 10324913
Abstract: The invention enables providing content to an access zone or geographical sector within the access zone. The access zone comprises a first communication node or one or more further communication nodes forming together with a first communication node a mesh network within the access zone. Content is received in a distribution node from a content provider, which content is associated with a geographical location. The geographical location is mapped with location coordinates stored in a first storage device associated with the distribution node, wherein the location coordinates falls within the access zone or geographical sector, and the first communication node of the access zone is thus determined. The content is transmitted from the distribution node to the first communication node, where it is stored for use by a user device in the access zone or geographical sector.

  • Patent number: 10306468
Abstract: The techniques described herein are configured to map a new security association to an active Internet Protocol (IP) Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) session subsequent to the occurrence of a connectivity interruption. In various examples, the connectivity interruption occurs in an access network that supports an IMS network. The new security association is established using an updated IP address that is configured for (e.g., assigned to) a mobile device after the connectivity interruption to the IMS session occurs. The techniques described herein improve network performance because less resources are spent to establish new IMS session in response to the interruption. Rather, in accordance with the examples provided herein, network components can determine that a new security association is associated with an active IMS session, and the network components can map the new security association to the active IMS session (e.g., one for which the IMS has not released the IMS bearer).
