  • Patent number: 5044997
Abstract: A high voltage electrical connector having a tubular glass insulator with a metal liner in the insulator. A metal connector connected to a bare end of an electrical conductor is releaseably engaged with the inside of the metal liner. The connector includes a resilient square metallic face having levers extending from opposite sides of the face for bending the face sides towards each other for release from the inside of the tubular member and for engaging and gripping the inside of the liner when the levers are released.

  • Patent number: 4936491
Abstract: A retractable garment hanger for attachment to the inside of a vehicle which includes a hanger body having arms for holding clothes and a support connected to the body for supporting the body from the inside of a vehicle. The support includes a hinge for moving the body between a down position for hanging clothes and an up position for storing the body. The support includes a releasable fastener for releasably holding the hanger body in an up position. The hanger may be used with a vehicle having a recess in the roof for receiving the hanger body when it is in the up position.

  • Patent number: 4913661
Abstract: A high voltage electrical connector for quickly connecting a stripped back electrical conductor with a neon electrode by plug-in means including a tubular glass insulated enclosure, a metal liner in the glass enclosure, and a metal connector telescopically positioned inside of the liner. The connector includes a longitudinal opening inside and a longitudinal channel on the outside, both for receiving a bent back stripped electrical conductor. The liner includes an inwardly biased electrical contact engaging the conductor in the longitudinal channel. Rotational alignment between the connector and the liner align the biased electrical contact with the longitudinal channel.

  • Patent number: 4902252
Abstract: A high voltage electrical connector for quickly connecting two stripped back electrical conductors including a plastic enclosure, a tubular glass insulator in the enclosure, a metal liner in the glass insulator, and first and second metal connectors telescopically positioned inside of the liner. Each of the connectors includes a longitudinal opening in the middle, and a longitudinal channel on the outside for receiving a bent back stripped electrical conductor. The liner includes first and second inwardly biased electrical contacts engaging the conductors in the longitudinal channels. Rotational alignment between the connectors and the liner align the biased electrical contacts with the longitudinal channels.

  • Patent number: 4864684
Abstract: A reusable device for connecting hose or tubing to a hole in the panel of machines, vacuum motors, and the like, that can be installed and removed by hand. Installation requires no special skill, tools, or panel preparation, and does not alter the panel in any way. Once installed, hose or tubing can be clamped onto the device by a conventional way. The device consists of three interlocking parts assembled in the order in which they are presented in FIG. 1. Part A is a flexible tubular body with a flange (11) at one end and a slotted section (17) along its length. When the body is squeezed together the diameter of the flange (11) is reduced, allowing it to pass through the hole in the panel. Once inserted into the hole, and the pressure released, the diameter of the flange (11) expands. The flange, once again larger than the diameter of the hole, secures the tubular body in the panel. Part B is an insert that fits into the slotted section (17) of Part A and completes the tubular shape of Part A.
