    Abstract: A device for securing sliding closures such as a door or window slidable in an appropriate track in a frame. First and second latch sections are provided, one securable to the closure and the other securable to the frame by appropriate fasteners. The latch sections have complementary walls defining a substantially closed compartment which conceals the fasteners when the closure is in a closed position relative to the frame. The latch sections prevent the closure from being lifted out of the track.
