Abstract: A cleaning composite comprising a foam layer, such as melamine foam, and lines of frangibility in said foam, is disclosed. The lines of frangibility allow a user of the foam to break the foam into two or more pieces for immediate and/or later cleaning of surfaces. The user breaks the foam along one or more lines of frangibility to produce the pieces.

Abstract: A cleaning wipe comprising integral, shaped tab portions adapted to engage the fastening devices of a cleaning tool is disclosed. Such wipes are generally more efficient, in that a greater percentage of the total surface area of the wipe is used for its intended purpose: cleaning and wiping. Furthermore, such wipes generally may more tenaciously engage certain kinds of fastening devices, thereby making these wipes potentially more effective. Processes for making said wipes, and packages and marketing methods for presenting said wipes to consumers, are also disclosed.

Abstract: A gas dispenser includes a reservoir for holding a liquid, and a chamber in communication with the reservoir. The chamber receives the liquid, and a micro power source generates energy for conversion of the liquid disposed in the chamber. A nozzle defining an orifice in selective communication with the chamber. The nozzle is used to release the converted liquid from the chamber through the orifice.

Abstract: A floor-cleaning apparatus includes a cleaning head having a cleaning device, a control handle connected to the cleaning head for controlling the cleaning head and a micro power source in communication with the cleaning device. The micro power source is lightweight, compact, and rechargeable or replaceable for generating energy to power the cleaning device.

Abstract: A cleaning composite comprising a foam layer, such as melamine foam, and an element adapted to engage a user's hand, is disclosed. The hand-engaging element may be adjustable. A second layer, attached to at least a portion of the foam layer, may also be present. When a second layer is present, the hand-engaging element, in some embodiments, may be positioned in facing relation to a surface of the second layer or a surface of the foam layer.
