    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for increasing the fertilization capability of cryopreserved sperm in in vitro fertilization. In particular, the invention provides methods and compositions for the manipulation of oocytes, which results in increased fertilization rates of the cryopreserved sperm. The invention allows for the maintenance of genetic lines with the use of cryopreserved stored sperm with minimal technical expertise and resources.
