  • Patent number: 5050248
Abstract: A combination toilet and urinal which includes a one piece urinal as part of the flush tank. The urinal is fitted with a flush valve using a portion of the water from the water closet. The urinal includes a separate drain positioned directly above and opening into the sewage outlet of the toilet. The urinal is situated higher than the toilet and to the rear. The seat of the urinal is also positioned within a central, front recess formed in the water closet. The urinal includes a seat such that females as well as males can use the urinal and avoid the higher water usage of the toilet. The support structure supporting the urinal includes a converging pair of side walls which form leg reception areas both for those sitting on the urinal and those standing in front of the urinal. The toilet seat is also formed of a width which is lesser in width than a conventional toilet seat.

  • Patent number: 4167598
Abstract: A heat and sound insulating panel assembly for wall, ceiling or floor construction consists of a plurality of interlocking vacuum-chambered panel elements fabricated from a relatively hard, low thermally-conductive, fire-resistant or fireproof material with heat-reflective, moisture-restraining coatings on its inner and outer surfaces. Abutting surfaces may be provided with sound-cushioning pads, and vacuum-chambered spacer column elements may be employed, interlocked between panel elements, for uniform increased panel wall thickness.

  • Patent number: 4062528
Abstract: A device for annealing metal wire leaving an operating machine. At least one drum inside a sealed heating chamber rotates synchronously with the machine supplying the wire and takes up the wire. The drum is heated so that by conduction heating the wire is heated to annealing temperature. The wire is then passed through a reservoir of cooling liquid, then dried when it leaves the chamber. The chamber is filled with an inert fluid to prevent the wire from rusting.
