  • Publication number: 20230392678
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a gear box mechanism with a carrier for housing a plurality of gear blocks, a retainer cam, a cam shaft, and a plurality of cam followers. The gear blocks can interact with a ring gear allowing an output to be driven. The carrier can be housed within a first lid, and a second lid. The plurality of gear blocks can be driven by the cam shaft that has a plurality of cam pathways along an outer circumferential surface of the cam shaft. Additionally, the retainer cam has a retention pathway along an inner surface of the retainer cam. One or more of the plurality of cam followers engage with the cam pathways and the retention pathway, allowing the plurality of gear blocks to be actuated based on the position of the plurality of cam followers along the retention pathway and the cam pathways.

  • Publication number: 20230392676
Abstract: The present disclosure is a flex drive with an input configured to be coupled to a motor or drive. The input can have multiple engagement devices removably coupled to the input. The flex drive can have a drive gear portion that is engaged with the engagement devices. A static gear can be partially engaged by the drive gear based on the engagement devices. A first laminate removably coupled to the drive gear, a flex cup removably coupled to the first laminate, and a second laminate removably coupled to the flex cup can allow for the flexibility desired for a flexgear. An output can be removably coupled to the second laminate.

  • Patent number: 10655715
Abstract: The improved motorized gearbox mechanism of the present invention includes a plurality of cam-actuated gear block assemblies, which transfer power from an integral rotor and stator assembly contained in a cam/rotor assembly, to a secondary or output gear element. Each gear block assembly includes a gear block having a surface that periodically interfaces with a secondary or output gear element. When energized, the stator assembly interacts with the rotor assembly inducing the cam/rotor assembly to rotate about its central axis, thereby driving the output gear element via the plurality of cam-actuated gear block assemblies. The motorized gearbox mechanism may be powered electrically, hydraulically, pneumatically or by steam, or any conventional power source that can be adapted to use an integral stator/rotor assembly configured in the cam assembly body to generate rotative power in the cam/rotor assembly.

  • Patent number: 10422102
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for foundation lifting and retention using fluid drive actuators are described. A foundation lift system of embodiments may include expendable fluid drive actuators operable to provide lifting forces with respect to a foundation structure using a fluid pressure (e.g., hydraulic and/or pneumatic) drive mechanism and utilize one or more locking mechanisms and/or fluids operable to persistently lock the lift assemblies in an extended state to retain the foundation structure in its lifted position. Curable fluids injected into expendable fluid drive actuators of embodiments may be configured to solidify within the drive mechanism and impede movement of the lift assemblies subsequent to a foundation lifting operation. Additionally, one or more locking mechanisms may be configured to engagedly retain the expendable fluid drive actuator in an extended state subsequent to the foundation lifting operation.
