  • Patent number: 11618477
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide for the generation of a service area map for autonomous vehicles. For instance, graph nodes of a road network may be iterated through in order to identify a set of reachable graph nodes based on a set of routing parameters that define driving limits for the autonomous vehicles. The road network may include the graph nodes as well as edges connecting ones of the graph nodes. A set of S2 cells may be identified based on the set of reachable graph nodes. Vertices of each S2 cell of the set of S2 cells may be determined based on whether each S2 cell of the set of S2 cells is occupied by any of the graph nodes of the set of reachable graph nodes. Contours through cells may be drawn based on the scores. The service area map may be generated using the contours.

Abstract: A clot removal system comprises a catheter, a vacuum source, and a controller. The catheter comprises a proximal end, a distal end, and controller operating parameters and defines a lumen configured to be filled with a liquid column having a proximal portion. The vacuum source is configured to supply vacuum. The controller is configured to carry out a control pattern of turning on and off the vacuum based upon the controller operating parameters and is configured to receive the controller operating parameters in an automatic response to the catheter being operatively connected to at least one of the vacuum source and the controller and, responsive to the connection, to carry out the control pattern to change a level of vacuum at the distal end of the catheter.

  • Publication number: 20230064549
Abstract: A multiple-firing clip device comprises a shaft comprising an exterior surface, an interior receiving therein suture fixation clips, and a distal end opening shaped to eject a suture fixation clip therefrom. The shaft defines a lateral opening and a distal shaft portion between the lateral opening and the distal end opening. A shuttle moves on the shaft and comprises a shuttle body, a snare having a distal snare portion, and a snare extension slide movable from the shuttle body along a given extent defining a slide distance and a distal end. The shuttle extends at least the distal snare portion distally through the lateral opening from the environment into the interior, through the distal shaft portion, and through the distal end opening along a length that is at least equal to the slide distance when the snare extension slide moves to the distal end of the given extent.

  • Patent number: 11568643
Abstract: Embodiments of a wearable device can include a head-mounted display (HMD) which can be configured to display virtual content. While the user is interacting with visual or audible virtual content, the user of the wearable may encounter a triggering event such as, for example, an emergency condition or an unsafe condition, detecting one or more triggering objects in an environment, or determining characteristics of the user's environment (e.g., home or office). Embodiments of the wearable device can automatically detect the triggering event and automatically control the HMD to deemphasize, block, or stop displaying the virtual content. The HMD may include a button that can be actuated by the user to manually deemphasize, block, or stop displaying the virtual content.

  • Patent number: 11537589
Abstract: Apparatus and methods are provided for enabling a sensor device to receive and transmit updates effectively via one or more rules applied to a plurality of event records for transmission by an event management server. In one exemplary embodiment, the event management server manages the plurality of event records (such as records of deletions or updates to a user's profile or goals), via an event suppression application. The event suppression application ensures that event records are not redundantly provided to the sensor device and/or irrelevant records (such as those which no longer contain the most up-to-date information) are not provided to the sensor device. Hence, only the most relevant event records are provided and that those which are not relevant are ignored (not transmitted). In this manner, the sensor device may operate more efficiently to receive only the most relevant transmissions.

  • Patent number: 11375296
Abstract: A method of providing customized interaction of a media player based on metadata obtained from an origin server. In one step, the origin server obtains metadata related to an active substream content. The media player is provided a playlist for playing a primary video stream. The playlist includes a request for the metadata, the request being associated with the insertion of the active substream content in the playback of the primary video stream. The origin server receives the request for the metadata from the media player. The origin server inserts the active substream content and metadata segments into the primary video stream. A secondary video stream is obtained after insertion of the active substream content. The origin server provides the metadata to the media player using a metadata storage and a metadata service. The media player customizes the interaction using the metadata during playback of the secondary video stream.

  • Patent number: 11327746
Abstract: Disclosed are embodiments for reducing processing requirements in complex build environments. Complex build environments frequently perform multiple builds per day, in some cases, multiple builds are occurring in parallel. Some of these builds and some fail. Moreover, a definition of success or failure of a build can vary across individual engineers or teams of engineers. In a complex build environment that is rapidly generating multiple build results simultaneously, identifying which builds are appropriate for use can be difficult. Many teams solve this problem by increasing a frequency of builds to rapidly detect any problems with documents recently checked into a document repository. However, this relatively high frequency of builds can impose large processing and/or cost burdens on an organization. By providing sophisticated methods of extracting validation information from existing builds, the disclosed embodiments reduce processing requirements and improved efficiency of enterprise build environments.

  • Publication number: 20220071619
Abstract: A multiple-firing clip device includes a hollow shaft defining a lateral opening communicating with an environment and a distal shaft portion between the lateral opening and a distal end opening. A shuttle longitudinally moves on the shaft and comprises a shuttle body defining a lumen surrounding the shaft, a snare, and a snare-extender slide defining a snare track to form a snare travel path in which the snare is disposed from the body and through the track and a portion of the body. The slide moves along a given extent defining a slide distance and a distal end and movement of the slide to the distal end shortens the snare travel path to extend the snare portion through the lateral opening, through the distal shaft portion, and distally out from a distal side of the body longer than the given extent to secure a suture with the snare.

  • Patent number: 11238956
Abstract: Methods for identifying and classifying differences between biological samples are based on replication timing (RT) data. By comparing RT data for a test sample(s) to RT data for already characterized samples, one can identify differences and profile any new cell type or disease. These new methods allow for the detection of all the changes between distinct samples, many of which would escape detection by previous methods that discard any features showing any intra-sample variation.
