  • Publication number: 20230419731
Abstract: Systems and techniques are provided to identify, analyze, and evaluate key events and mechanical variables in videos of human motion related to an action, such as may be used in training for various sports and other activities. Information about the action is calculated based on analysis of the video such as via keypoint identification, pose identification and/or estimation, and related calculations, and provided automatically to the user to allow for improvement of the action.
    Type: Application
    Filed: September 14, 2023
    Publication date: December 28, 2023
Inventors: Kevin John Prince, Carlos Dietrich, Justin Ali Kennedy
  • Patent number: 11845858
Abstract: A friction reducer comprising a copolymer of acrylamide, an anionic monomer, a zwitterionic monomer or a cationic monomer, a physical ligand or a chemical ligand, wherein the acrylamide amounts to at least 50% (w/w) of the total monomer content. The friction reducer is useful in hydraulic fracturing operations and is obtained by controlled radical polymerization at a temperature between 30° C. and 70° C. using iodine as polymerization control agent.
    Type: Grant

  • Publication number: 20180031721
Abstract: A method and system are described for creating a subsurface model. The method and system may include updating a subsurface model having objects associated with a subsurface region. The method includes obtaining a subsurface model having a mesh formed from various nodes and forming blocks or mesh elements, which have mesh shapes. Then, areas of the mesh that need repair are identified and one or more of a local re-meshing operation, an edge-flipping operation, a collapsing operation and any combination thereof are applied to the identified areas. The resulting updated subsurface model is then outputted.

  • Publication number: 20180031720
Abstract: A method and system are described for creating a subsurface model. The method involves forming a volumetric representation having objects associated with the subsurface region; computing a value for each of the blocks based on an object priority function; and removing one or more blocks based on constraints and the object priority function to create the watertight model. Then, using the watertight model to perform simulations and in performing hydrocarbon operations.
