  • Patent number: 11967988
Abstract: An insulation device arranged to be fixed on an electrical board of an optical wireless communication equipment, and including an enclosure having a height at least equal to a height of an optical assembly including an optical concentrator, the enclosure including in its thickness an opaque material, the insulation device including at least one housing, the insulation device being arranged such that, when the insulation device and the optical assembly are mounted on the electrical board, the enclosure surrounds the receiving surface so as to insulate the optical assembly from unwanted optical signals, and the optical concentrator is positioned in the housing so that the housing assists in holding the optical concentrator in position in the optical wireless communication equipment.

  • Patent number: 9805574
Abstract: The vehicle child safety alert system comprises a seat sensor and an alarm fob. The seat sensor is installed in a child safety seat in order to detect a passenger. When a passenger is detected in the child safety seat the seat sensor queries the GPS for the GPS coordinates of the seat sensor. The GPS coordinates of the location of the seat sensor are wirelessly transmitted to the alarm fob. The alarm fob receives the GPS coordinates of the location of the seat sensor and compares the GPS coordinates of the location of the seat sensor to the GPS coordinates of the location of the alarm fob. If the distance between the GPS coordinates of the location of the seat sensor and the GPS coordinates of the location of the alarm fob is greater than a maximum allowable distance the alarm fob generates an alarm.

  • Publication number: 20130264247
Abstract: A process and system for reducing the viscosity of heavy and extra heavy crude oils, and more particularly to a process for reducing the viscosity of heavy and extra heavy crude oils by means of total or partial oil deasphalting using a precipitating agent in order to obtain an upgraded crude oil of lower viscosity that can be pumped without the use of diluents. The upgrading also includes a reduction in metals and sulfur associated with asphaltene removal. The process consists of relatively simple equipment such as static mixers and stirred tanks and operation temperature is low and pressure is moderate.

  • Patent number: 5193042
Abstract: An electronic automatic energizing damping device for connection to a source of electrical energy to protect and safeguard continuously all the devices, instruments, equipment and systems, connected to the source. The device comprises a control stage and a power stage. The control stage monitors the operating conditions of both the A.C. line and the load energized by it via the power stage, in order to detect irregularities in any of the programmed parameters of the voltage or the current, and supplies control signals that regulate the power stage. The power stage supplies the energy of the network to the load, according to the commands of the control stage. The control stage features a voltage sensor circuit, a current sensing circuit, a comparison circuit to receive the output of the voltage sensor circuit and an energy relay control circuit. The power stage comprises a surge breaker and suppressor, and an optical interface circuit.
