    Abstract: In one embodiment the invention comprises a method for transmitting a message over the Internet in which a communication transmitted from a first connection device in a medium of said first connection device is received on a server, and the communication is converted from said medium of said first connection device into a medium of a second connection device, said medium of said first connection device and said medium of said second connection device being different. The converted communication is then transmitted to said second connection device.
