  • Patent number: 8821776
Abstract: A process for the additivation of synthetic fibers, artificial fibers and polymers conferring special properties to them, the process comprising the following steps: the encapsulation of an additive in the pores of a porous material; the incorporation of particles of the porous material (capsules) into the polymer matrix of the fiber; and spinning of the fiber; the capsule withstanding the temperatures and other conditions of the different manufacturing processes which the fibers might undergo and the introduction of the additive into the polymer matrix thereof, characterised in that the porous material is a metal oxide, a zeolite, an aluminophosphate, clay, a carbon material, a hybrid organic-inorganic material or a porous polymer.

  • Patent number: 8697926
Abstract: Process for obtaining aromatic hydrocarbons from a stream containing at least one light hydrocarbon selected from the list comprising methane, ethane, ethylene, propane, propene, propylene, butane, butene or butadiene, which comprises putting said stream into contact with a catalyst, which comprises a catalytic material and a binder, in a fluidized bed reactor. Said reactor may have two reaction zones, an oxidizing zone and a reducing zone.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 19, 2009
Date of Patent: April 15, 2014
    Assignee: Universidad de Zaragoza
Inventors: Miguel Menéndez Sastre, Javier Herguido Huerta, Carlos Téllez Ariso, Jaime Soler Herrero, María Pilar Gimeno Tolosa
  • Publication number: 20110184191
Abstract: Two zone (11, 12; 21, 22; 31, 32; 41, 42) fluidized bed reactor (10, 20, 30, 40), wherein the upper zone (11, 21, 31, 41) presents a different section than the lower zone (12, 22, 32, 42). In one of the two zones (11, 12; 21, 22; 31, 32; 41, 42), a zone of reducing atmosphere is created and, in the other zone, a zone of oxidising atmosphere is created. In a preferred embodiment, the section of the upper zone (11, 21, 31, 41) is larger than that of the lower zone (12, 22, 32, 42), creating a reducing atmosphere in the upper zone (11, 21, 31, 41) and an oxidising atmosphere in the lower zone (12, 22, 32, 42). Rows of flow distributor tubes exist in the upper zone (11, 21, 31, 41) to avoid the appearance of dead zones.
