  • Publication number: 20060131353
Abstract: According to he method for treating textile articles, the textile articles to be treated are fed on to shapes (2) fitted to supporting members (10). Gliding independently each other on a platform (5) of the boarding or semi-boarding machine, and positioned in mutual contact at respective sides along a polygonal pathway defined by guiding means (4). The supporting members (10) are transported in step along the polygonal pathway, by the engagement with towing means (20) acting independently at each linear stretch of the polygonal pathway, so that in each step at least one position at the concurrence of two linear stretches of the polygonal pathway is maintained unoccupied. At least one of the supporting members (10), on which the textile articles to be treated are fed, is arranged in a halt position upstream from a semi-boarding station (S) and then is moved to take the shapes (2) into the semi-boarding station (S).

  • Publication number: 20050230595
Abstract: The support device for cutting templates comprises a panel (2) with an essentially rectangular shape and presenting along the longitudinal sides respective raised rims (3) that serve as guides for sliding it into a cutting machine. The longitudinal rims (3) are fitted with an edge (4) that is folded towards the centre of the panel (2), presenting the respective bevels (5) at the opposite ends in the corners. The panel (2) has a front rim (6) produced by folding the same panel (2) in a single piece and destined to function as the support device's handle.

  • Patent number: 5630533
Abstract: A method of folding women's tights on a hose shaping machine, whereby the tights are fitted onto respective pairs of tubular forms fitted to a carousel conveyor and set to a parted position in which the forms substantially lie in the same vertical plane; at least one of the forms is rotated to bring the forms together into a facing position in parallel planes; in time with the rotation of the forms into the facing position, a first tensioning member operates on the front of the body of the tights, in an intermediate plane between the forms, to slide the body in relation to the forms and form a center fold in the body; and a second tensioning member operates on the rear of the body, in the intermediate plane between the forms, to form an opposite center fold in the body.

  • Patent number: 5467905
Abstract: The sock removal device is associated with machines for checking, drying and pressing men's socks, of the type which includes a carousel on the peripheral region whereof multiple shaped elements are distributed, for fitting respective socks. The carousel is movable stepwise at appropriate processing stations. The device includes, at a station for removing the socks from the corresponding shaped elements, a lifting tooth that is suitable to enter a longitudinal slot of the shaped elements so as to act on the top of the sock. Arms for gripping the top of the shaped elements and for lifting the end of the sock are suitable to cooperate with the lifting tooth, and have at least two oscillating arm pairs that have a corresponding pad and can be actuated so as to mutually open and close on supporting elements which are meant for alternating vertical sliding.

  • Patent number: 4903415
Abstract: The machine for flaw-checking and drying stockings and the like comprises a rotatable platform which has elements for supporting stockings, comprising a plurality of vertically arranged fork-like elements each having an elastically contractable base. The platform is actuated intermittently at a station for inserting stockings on the fork-like elements and for checking for the presence of flaws. The fork-like elements are moved into a drying station inside a chamber provided with heating elements, and finally, through a station for removing stockings from the fork-like elements.
