    Abstract: The invention provides novel and advantageous delivery devices for compositions of cetyl myristoleate. The delivery devices include transdermal delivery devices, suppositories, enteric coatings, and microencapsulation. Further provided are methods of treating diseases using the disclosed delivery devices. Diseases that can be treated with the devices include, but are not limited to, diseases associated with the inflammation of tissues, diseases associated with inflammatory conditions affecting joints, and autoimmune diseases.
