  • Patent number: 11224215
Abstract: An animal decoy comprising a coil spring, where the coil spring is shaped to resemble at least a portion of a body of an animal, and an exterior fabric layer over at least a portion of the coil spring. The compressible coil spring inside the body is configured to expand to press the material into a shape of an animal torso when released and can be compressed to a generally flat position. The coil spring extends from a solid front end of a decoy to a solid rear end of the decoy. The decoy also comprises removable antlers and tail. The decoy also comprises positionable ears that can be manipulated by a user.

  • Publication number: 20190069536
Abstract: An animal decoy device is presented. The animal decoy device includes a first pocket of fabric material includes a band disposed within the first pocket to bias the first pocket into an expanded shape. The device also includes a second pocket of a second fabric material a second band disposed within the second pocket to bias the second pocket into an expanded shape. The second pocket is configured to removably couple to the first pocket in at least a first position with respect to the first pocket and a second position with respect to the second pocket.

  • Publication number: 20180255764
Abstract: A device for suspending a decoy comprising an extendable rod including a first tubular section with a first end and a second end, wherein the first end is configured to connect to a mounting post and the second end includes an open end from which extends a plurality of flexible tubular sections where the sections have progressively smaller diameters, are slidably disposed in one another, and are in tight frictional engagement with each other such that they remain in any position of extension or retraction in which they are set, and wherein when the extendable rod is in an extended position the plurality of flexible tubular sections are sufficiently flexible that a weight of the decoy causes the plurality of tubular sections to bend and position the decoy proximate to the ground when the extendable rod is in a deployed position.

The coil spring extends from a tail region to a lower neck region of the body. The body also includes a plurality of sleeves where each sleeve receives a pole to be inserted into the ground for support of the animal decoy. The animal decoy also includes a head and neck generally configured to resemble a three dimensional head and neck made of a solid material or of a construction similar to the body with an articulable neck.
