The door pull may include a central portion allowing a user to actuate a door by bringing the foot or the tool in contact with the door pull. The door pull may further include a central portion which includes a serrated top edge, configured to make ergonomic and comfortable contact with a sole of a shoe, and a smooth lower edge, configured to make ergonomic and comfortable contact with a toe box of a shoe.

Abstract: A retrofit latch adapter is configured to replace a pre-existing roller head latch assembly of a pre-existing exit device. The retrofit latch adapter may include a flat latch head that may provide additional security for a door compared with the pre-existing roller head pre-existing latch assembly.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a plastic door rail wedge for clamping a door panel to a door rail includes an elongate monolithic body. An inward face of the elongate monolithic body defines a clamping surface that configured to directly engages a side surface of the door panel. An upward end face of the elongate monolithic body defines a supporting surface that is configured to directly engage an end surface of the door panel. An outward face of the elongate monolithic body defines a camming surface that is angled with respect to the clamping surface. The door rail includes a frame with an opening and a bracket disposed within the opening of the frame. The bracket is configured to cam the first and second monolithic plastic door rail wedges toward each other to cause the monolithic plastic door rail wedges to clamp directly against the door panel.

The door handle pull comprises a flat door handle grip extending from the door at an acute angle with respect to the door surface and in a direction away from the door surface, the door handle grip having a width tapering from a wider width adjacent the door to a narrower width near a distal end with an edge on the hinge side of the door extending at an acute angle to vertical. The tapered width of the grip and acute angle of the grip edge resists attachment of a locking device to the grip and urges a locking device downward off of the grips as the door is opened and the locking device is tightened.

Abstract: A door entry system for operating a door using a wireless transmitter device containing identification credentials of a user. The system includes a door operable by an uncoupling or releasing securing mechanism, a door controller capable of operating the uncoupling or releasing securing mechanism and a door handle for grasping by the user to operate the door, the handle having a cavity, the handle being secured to the door and spaced away from a surface thereof. The system includes a wireless device reader disposed in the handle cavity and a power source connected to the card reader. The wireless transmitter may be presented in the vicinity of the reader in the door handle and, upon verification of the credentials transmitted from the wireless transmitter device, the reader sends a signal to the door controller to uncouple or release the securing mechanism and permit the door to open.
