  • Patent number: 7673121
Abstract: A method for the transmission of digital messages by the output terminals of a monitoring circuit which is integrated into a microprocessor, the digital messages being representative of first specific events which are dependent on the execution of a series of instructions by the microprocessor.

  • Patent number: 7519570
Abstract: The invention provides a method of localizing an electronic registration system provided through a generic registration framework, the method includes using several interfaces (capturing interface, template interface, workflow interface, rules interface) to customize the registration requirements and processing for a particular registration application. The method generates a geographically-meaningful localization of a registration system. The invention protects and respects the history of the data.

  • Publication number: 20060270005
Abstract: The invention relates to the genome sequence and the nucleotide sequences coding for polypeptides of cyanophage S-2L. According to the invention, the polypeptides include, but are not limited to, polypeptides involved in the synthesis, transcription and replication of purine bases. In particular, determining the genome of cyanophage S-2L is useful for supplying genes which, expressed in recombinant bacteria, enable the synthesis of DNA monomers incorporating base D (2,6 diaminopurine instead of base A (adenine), thereby producing chemically-remodelled nucleic acids in the bacteria.

  • Publication number: 20060212684
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the transmission of digital messages by means of the output terminals (22) of a monitoring circuit (18) which is integrated into a microprocessor (12), said digital messages being representative of first specific events which are dependent on the execution of a series of instructions by the microprocessor.

  • Publication number: 20060155971
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the transmission of digital messages by a monitoring circuit (18) which is integrated into a microprocessor (12), said method being performed during the execution of a series of instructions by the microprocessor. Moreover, at least one of said digital messages represents the detection of a jump in the execution of the series of instructions from a source instruction to a destination instruction. The inventive method consists in determining whether or not the jump is associated with a jump instruction from the series of instructions for which the address of the jump destination instruction is explicitly indicated in the instruction. If the answer is in the affirmative, a first value is allocated to a first set of bits or, if the answer is in the negative, a second value is allocated to the first set of bits.

  • Patent number: 6837424
Abstract: The present invention provides an apparatus for processing of checks and includes a closed casing (1) having an opening defining a feed path (5) for the insertion of a check, and an optical scanner (3) for receiving a check fed into the casing (1) and recording data representing information on the face of the check. The apparatus includes a cancellation device (4) to cancel the check concurrently with the scanning and a communications device (2,9) for transmitting recorded data to a remote location. The invention is intended for distribution to end users, the drawees of checks, or as a component part of an automatic teller machine, such that a bank can trust that a digital check received from the apparatus via a communications network is as secure against being fraudulently deposited as if the check had been physically delivered in the conventional manner.
