  • Patent number: 11655869
Abstract: A brake adjuster with a housing configured to be coupled to a brake actuator push rod, and a control unit rotatably coupled to the housing. The control unit is configured to be coupled to a reference point of a vehicle and to cause adjustment of the brake as the brake actuator push rod retracts. One of the housing and the control unit has a first indicator and a second indicator, and the other of the housing and the control unit has a third indicator. The third indicator is adjacent the first indicator when the brake actuator push rod is retracted in a brake disengaged position, and the third indicator is adjacent the second indicator when the brake actuator push rod is extended to a brake over-stroke position. The indicators may be any combination of notches, protrusions, marks, or pointers.

  • Patent number: 9262749
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for generating parking permits reports for a parking permit system. The method includes aggregating parking permit data for each zone within the parking permit system into a logical grouping in a database. Then processing data according to report generation instructions. The data is then parsed to obtain a requested report and the report is distributed to a specified party.

  • Publication number: 20120215595
Abstract: A parking permit system that allows a permit applicant to electronically apply for a permit. Once the applicant submits application data, the system will automatically verify the applicant data by comparing the applicant data against a system database. Once verified, the system will automatically, qualify parking rights associated with the permit application by applying the parking rights to a set of rules governing a parking zone. Once the application data is verified and the parking rights are qualified, the system will issue the parking permit.

  • Publication number: 20120215596
Abstract: A permit enforcement system is a computer-implemented system that enforces parking rights within a parking zone. The system may include a processor(s) that allows the system to first capture parked vehicle images within the parking zone during a specified time period. The images are then transmitted to a computing system with a time and date stamp and geographic location. The images are processed to obtain vehicle identifiers. The processor then queries a permit database to compile a list of vehicles permitted to park in the parking zone during the specified time period. This list is compared the vehicle identifiers and the vehicles identifiers which were not authorized to park within the parking zone during the specified time period are identified. These vehicle are then associated with owner information using an outside entity database and vehicle owners are notified of the violations.

  • Patent number: 7940773
Abstract: A system, method, and apparatus for network service provisioning includes receiving a network address request from a subscriber device. The network address request includes at least one data cell including a channel identifier associated with the subscriber device. The channel identifier identifies the subscriber device for a cell-switched network The method further includes determining the channel identifier from the network address request, and generating a customer tag using the channel identifier.

  • Patent number: 7843321
Abstract: A vehicle violation enforcement and noticing system that includes a first server and a second server. The first server contains a vehicle information database that is in communication with the second server. The second server is a mobile data terminal that allows for the identification of vehicles and retrieves the vehicle information pertaining to the identified vehicles from the first server via a communications link. Once the vehicle information has been received, appropriate enforcement tactics are prepared based upon the received vehicle information. The appropriate enforcement tactics may include printing a notice informing a vehicle user of the current and outstanding debt associated with the vehicle for placement directly on the vehicle, writing a notice as per instructions displayed by the second server, for placement directly on the vehicle, booting the vehicle, towing the vehicle and/or informing a second agency of the vehicle location so that the second agency may take appropriate action.

  • Patent number: 7703240
Abstract: An automatic watering system for a plant growing in a growth medium, wherein the system comprises a water storage reservoir substantially filled with water and an air-tight closure that substantially seals a fill aperture. Water flows out of a reservoir drain opening through a water drain conduit and air in a water feed reservoir escapes through an air return conduit and into the water storage reservoir until a float valve seals the lower end of the air return conduit. Water thereafter flows into a growth medium through water feed apertures until the water level in a water feed reservoir drops below a water drain conduit and air is allowed to escape into the water storage reservoir therethrough. Thereafter the pressure differential between the water storage reservoir and the water feed reservoir is equalized, releasing the float valve to repeat the cycle.
