Abstract: Tissue augmentation devices, as well as methods of manufacturing and using the same, are disclosed. In certain embodiments, a tissue augmentation device comprises an elongate tissue penetrating member and an amount of remodelable material, wherein at least a portion of the elongate member is cannulated, and at least a portion of the amount of material is received within at least a portion of the cannulated portion of the elongate member. The elongate tissue penetrating member may provide at least one deformation that is configured to constrict portions of the amount of remodelable material received within the elongate member. In alternate embodiments, a flexible covering over an implantable biomaterial provides protection and allows an easier delivery of the biomaterial to a tissue tract.

Abstract: A suspension system having a stabilizer bar assembly with a stabilizer bar structure, an intermediate bushing and a resilient bushing. The stabilizer bar structure includes a center section to which the intermediate bushing is coupled. The resilient bushing is mounted on the intermediate bushing. The intermediate bushing limits relative axial movement of the resilient bushing in along the center section in a first direction and a second direction opposite the first direction. A method for forming a stabilizer bar assembly is also provided.

Abstract: Described are implantable prosthetic valve devices comprising isolated granulation tissue. Also described are methods of treatment that include implanting at least one of these valves within a body passageway of a patient, for example, within a vein to treat venous insufficiency.

Abstract: A down pressure adjustment mechanism for a planter provides a self-contained spring cartridge holding a preloaded compression spring that may be moved between a limited number of mounting points to provide for convenient and significant changes in down pressure without the need for specialized tools or the like.

Abstract: An interlocking control valve which can be used to control the flow of fluids such as water and gas. The control valve features a push button on the end of a handle which permits the interlocking valve to engage the valve stem when the push button is pressed. A fixed washer is provided with a hole-and-groove cutout, thereby preventing rotation of the handle with respect to the washer unless the push button is pressed.

Abstract: An inductor assembly includes an inlet configured to receive a forced air stream in a path to engage a flow of product so as to generate a combined stream of forced air and product for conveyance to a remote receiver or planting unit for application in an agricultural field. A series of inductor segments each defines a first and a second conduit to communicate the combined stream of forced air and product from the inductor housing to the remote receiver for application in a field. Each first and second conduit includes a bypass opening located to receive a bypass portion of the forced air stream in a manner that enhances the flow of the combined stream of forced air and product to the remote receiver. A vane is located to enhance guidance of the forced air stream in a path toward the mass of product received in the inductor housing.

Abstract: A system and method for generating a realistic weather forecast visualization. Realistic weather graphics and animations are combined with a few of view of location of interest to allow weather presentation viewers to visualize future forecast weather conditions as the would actually be seen. A forecast weather video presentation may be formed by selecting and combining pre-rendered or pre-recorded video segments based on user selected time period and location parameters and model generated forecast weather data.

Abstract: In accordance with preferred embodiments and applications of the invention, an automated custom configuration system (and method) is provided for facilitating the configuration and customization of desired products, services, or other objects that require users to gather and assimilate disparate relevant information (e.g., knowledge of makes, models, types, features, options, limitations, codes, and prices of the desired product/service (or group of the same) to be configured and customized). In accordance with a preferred embodiment, custom configuration may be facilitated through a parametric drawing engine which provides illustrations of configuration data.

Abstract: An orbital finishing sander for finishing coarsely sanded wood pieces includes a support frame and a conveyor belt movably mounted on the frame and extending generally horizontally thereon. An orbital sander support such as a plate is mounted on the frame and extends over and above the conveyor belt for supporting at least one orbital sander vertically movably mounted on the orbital sander support, the orbital sander being movable between a lowered engagement position and a raised non-engagement position. At least one orbital sander movement device such as a pneumatic ram would be operatively connected to each one orbital sander for moving the associated orbital sander between the lowered engagement position and the raised non-engagement position.
