The hat holder device includes an upper wall attached to a lower wall, forming a bill pocket therebetween configured to slidably and removably secure a bill of the billed hat therein. The upper wall is attached to the lower wall by two attachment blocks, or enclosed stitching, and the upper wall is attachable to the surface by any suitable means, including clips, straps, and the like. The hat holder device is useful for securing the billed hat to a visor of a vehicle, a headrest of the vehicle, a backpack, an interior wall of a building, an exterior wall of the building, or any other surface.
