  • Patent number: 11816620
Abstract: A plan model system provides interactive graphical user interfaces allowing users to view and navigate to multiple alternative views of measures modeled in one or more planning models. A modeled event is provided by a user relating to a measure of a particular plan model modeling outcomes of a particular business domain of a business organization. An effect of the event on values of one or more measures of the plan model is determined. A graphical representation is presented in the graphical user interface illustrating the effect.

  • Publication number: 20230054383
Abstract: An unstructured data input is accessed that includes an electronic communication. Content of the unstructured data is parsed to determine one or more terms in the unstructured data input. It is determined that one or more particular elements defined in a structured business data model correspond to the terms. Tags are assigned to the unstructured data based on the terms corresponding to the one or more particular elements, where the tags define an association between the unstructured data and the structured data model.

  • Publication number: 20220335064
Abstract: Systems and techniques for alert-based learning for multi-dimensional data processing are described herein. Alert data may be received from a big data platform. An alert definition may be generated that includes a set of key performance indicators (KPIs) for an alert based on a determination that an alert definition does not exist for the alert. A calculation configuration may be created for the alert. Historical data from the big data platform may be evaluated with the calculation configuration to calculate the KPIs. An alert condition may be established for the alert based on the KPIs. The alert condition may be stored in the big data platform.

  • Publication number: 20190251486
Abstract: Systems and techniques for graph network-based resource scheduling are described herein. A set of source data may be received. An entity graph network may be generated that includes a plurality of nodes and links between the nodes based on relationship data. A set of plan data may be received that may include attributes and measures. A plan graph network may be generated for an entity using the attributes and the measures. A task may be identified to be completed to modify an attribute value of the attributes. A user may be determined to complete the task. A graphical user interface may be presented to a display device that includes a plurality of interactive controls for receiving inputs related to the task. The plan graph network may be refreshed based on a recalculated attribute value based on received inputs.

  • Publication number: 20170140405
Abstract: A global market model models aspects of the global marketplace and provides models of market segments, value chains of those market segments, organizations, products, and other aspects of the global marketplace. Requests for market intelligence of a global market model are received and can include, in some instances, market intelligence relating to competitors, suppliers, channel partners, market size, market share, market share drivers, and demand changes within the global marketplace. Parameters of the requests are identified and used to identify business logic responsive to the request. One or more model instances of the global market model are identified from the parameters. The identified business logic is applied to the identified model instances to generate a response to the request. In some instances, business logic can be embodied in a plurality of query modules and identifying responsive business logic can include invoking a corresponding one of the plurality of query modules.

  • Publication number: 20140058799
Abstract: One or more plan models are identified, each of the plan models representing a business outcome of a corresponding domain and including a respective set of input drivers and a respective set of outcome measures, where values of the outcome measures are influenced by values of the input drivers. One or more particular values are received in connection with a scenario based on the plan models and one or more guidance rules, defined through the plan models, are applied to values of the scenario. In some instances, each plan model includes a respective input drivers model defining input drivers of the plan model, a respective outcome measures model defining outcome measures of the plan model, and one or more guidance rules defining constraints on values of input drivers and/or outcome measures of the plan model.

  • Publication number: 20140058798
Abstract: A focus plan model is identified in a network of plan models including two or more plan models, each plan model in the network of plan models representing outcomes for a respective domain, the outcomes for each domain influenced by a respective set of input drivers of the corresponding plan model. One or more linked plan models are identified in the network of plan models that are linked to the focus plan model, link expressions defining links between the plan models. One or more values of the focus plan model are identified, the one or more values including a value of at least one of a set including the input drivers of the focus plan model and outcome measures of the focus plan model. A scenario is generated based on the identified value using both the focus plan model and the one or more linked plan models.

  • Publication number: 20140058712
Abstract: A plan model is identified that is adapted to model business outcomes for a particular domain, the plan model including a respective scope model defining the particular domain. A value can be identified of an input driver or outcome measure of the plan model. A scenario can be generated from the plan model for the particular domain based on the identified value. In some instances, business outcomes of plan models are expressed as one or more respective outcome measures. Each plan model can further include one or more input drivers representing variables influencing the one or more outcome measures, a respective scope model defining the domain of the plan model, and a sensitivity model corresponding to the domain and defining one or more dependencies between the input drivers and outcome measures.
