  • Publication number: 20220326452
Abstract: An optical connector plug for outdoor waterproof onsite assembly. A frame having slits sheathes and is fixed to an optical cable when the optical cable is constructed on a site. The optical connector plug is waterproofed by a protective tube and an O-ring. The optical cable has a tip at one side which is attached to an assembly in a sealing or mechanical manner, and the frame sheathing an outer side of the optical cable has one side end to which an outer peripheral edge of the assembly is coupled, has the one or more slits which are cut from a middle to the other side end and are formed to be widened and narrowed in compliance with an outer diameter of the optical cable, and has a step on an outer peripheral edge at one side end to be held by an inner peripheral edge of a housing.

  • Patent number: 9709751
Abstract: Disclosed is an optical connector fastened to an adapter which is reinforced by securing a buffering space to make the optical connector moveable so as not to generate a light loss even when receiving an external force so that the optical connector is not easily detached from the adapter compared to a conventional one. The optical fiber connector includes: a boot with a connection hole for supporting the optical fiber; and a ferrule part connected to the connection hole of the boot for resiliently supporting a ferrule connected to the optical fiber, the ferrule part being separated from the boot when receiving an external force, wherein the ferrule part is provided with a protuberance for fastening to the connection hole of the boot, and the protuberance is formed smaller than the length of the inner peripheral surface of the connection hole so as to be moved in the connection hole.

  • Patent number: 9256035
Abstract: Disclosed is an optical fiber connector. The connector includes a ferrule optical fiber enclosed in a ferrule, the ferrule being elastically supported by an elastic member; and a main optical fiber. The ferrule optical fiber and the main optical fiber are fusion-spliced by a fusion splice unit. A fusion splice part is reinforced by a reinforcing sleeve and the ferrule optical fiber being integral by the reinforcing sleeve moves within a stopper.

  • Publication number: 20150205045
Abstract: The present invention relates to an optical fiber fusion splicer and, more particularly, to a fusion splicer having an added optical fiber inspection function to which a power meter function is added in order to determine whether a connection is normal after optical fiber fusion splicing so that the processes of optical fiber fusion splicing and inspection of whether the fusion splicing is successful can be handled with one apparatus and not two as is done in the related art. The fusion splicer having the added optical fiber inspection function includes: an adapter which is connected to the input end of an optical fiber which is fused with the optical fiber fusion splicer in order to have a fusion splicing section for receiving an optical input from the output end of the optical fiber; and a control unit which is connected to the adapter so as to calculate the optical loss ratio of the input end of the optical fiber as compared to the optical signal strength of the output end of the optical fiber.

  • Patent number: 9069140
Abstract: An optical fiber connector by which a worker can easily connect optical fibers at an on-site location, and in particular to an optical fiber connector which makes it possible to prevent the problems that an adhered state of a ferrule optical fiber installed in a ferrule is broken owing to a bending phenomenon occurring when an elastic member ferrule moves within an allowable (set) movement range owing to the nature of elastic force member or a connected state of a fusion connection part is damaged.

  • Patent number: 9057849
Abstract: The present invention relates to an optical fiber connector whereby an operator can easily couple optical fibers on site, and to an assembly method for the same. More specifically the invention relates to: an optical fiber connector wherein a guide ferrule bush is provided between a ferrule and a coil spring so as to be able to solve a problem whereby a ferrule optical fiber between a ferrule body and a reinforcing sleeve is bent, and a problem whereby contact between the ferrule body and the ferrule optical fiber is broken due to frequent movement, when the ferrule moves within a range of movement provided for by a resilient member due to the resilient member; and to an assembly method for the same.
