Patent number: 11154885Abstract: In some examples, a moveable member including multiple tools is moveable relative to a fixed member to position a selected tool for performing an operation. A first connector half may be included on the fixed member for connecting to one of a plurality of second connector halves included on the moveable member. Movement of the moveable member to position the selected tool for performing the operation moves a respective second connector half associated with the selected tool into connection with the first connector half. In addition, a respective nozzle assembly may be associated with each tool. The respective nozzle assembly may receive multiple fluids including at least one fluid received through the connection between the connector halves. The nozzle assembly includes an inner nozzle that outputs a gas and an annular outer nozzle that outputs a machining liquid to generate a mixture to direct toward a tool-workpiece interface.Type: GrantFiled: May 2, 2019Date of Patent: October 26, 2021Assignee: HITACHI, LTD.Inventor: Chandra Nath

Patent number: 10584863Abstract: Described herein is a light emitting diode (LED) luminaire comprising a cylindrical plastic housing having a first open end and a second open end. At the first open end, an externally threaded formation terminating with a flange is formed to mate with an internally threaded mounting unit, and at the second open end, an internal ridge is formed with a circumferential groove at its base. Inside the cylindrical plastic housing, an aluminum heat sink is insert molded. The aluminum heat sink has a cylindrical profile matching with the internal profile of the plastic housing. The aluminum heat sink has an open end towards the first open end of the plastic housing and a closed end resting on the internal ridge at the second open end of the plastic housing. With the interior surface of the closed end of the aluminum heat sink, a printed circuit board (PCB) holder plate locks a PCB driver.Type: GrantFiled: May 8, 2019Date of Patent: March 10, 2020Assignee: Overdrive Electronics Pvt. Ltd.Inventors: Mohit Mittal, Nagesh Chandra Nath, Manish Kumar Pandey

Patent number: 10376833Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a process for capturing carbon-dioxide from a gas stream. In order to capture the carbon-dioxide, a support is provided and potassium carbonate (K2CO3) is impregnated thereon to form an adsorbent comprising potassium carbonate (K2CO3) impregnated support. The adsorbent is activated to form an activated adsorbent. The gas stream is passed through the adsorber to enable adsorption of the carbon-dioxide on the activated adsorbent to form a carbon-dioxide laden adsorbent. The carbon-dioxide laden adsorbent is transferred to a desorber for at least partially desorbing the carbon-dioxide from the carbon-dioxide laden adsorbent by passing a carbon-dioxide deficient stream through the desorber. The partially regenerated adsorbent is returned to the adsorber for adsorbing the carbon-dioxide from the carbon-dioxide. The process of the present disclosure reduces the overall energy demand by partially regenerating the adsorbent.Type: GrantFiled: May 18, 2016Date of Patent: August 13, 2019Assignee: RELIANCE INDUSTRIES LIMITEDInventors: Surajit Sengupta, Vinay Amte, Asit Kumar Das, Satyanarayana Reddy Akuri, Manoj Yadav, Sukumar Mandal, Amit Gohel, Sampath Nerivetla, Kalyan Chandra Nath

Patent number: 9808815Abstract: An atomizing cutting fluid system. The system includes a common chamber terminating in a shaped droplet nozzle and including a nozzle section immediately behind the shaped droplet nozzle. An atomizer creates spray directly within the common chamber behind the nozzle section. A cutting fluid supply line provides cutting fluid to the atomizer. A high velocity gas nozzle within the nozzle section and behind the droplet nozzle is configured to provide a high velocity gas to entrain the flow of droplets. The nozzle section and droplet nozzle are configured to produce a fully developed droplets-gas flow at a predetermined distance from the droplet nozzle. In a cutting system, the spray system provides a uniform film for a macro or micro cutting operation at sufficient flow rates.Type: GrantFiled: May 22, 2014Date of Patent: November 7, 2017Assignee: The Board of Trustees of the University of IllinoisInventors: Shiv G. Kapoor, Chandra Nath
