  • Patent number: 7075248
Abstract: A system driving a lamp set having a first lamp and a second lamp is provided. The system has a power supply circuit providing an AC signal to the lamp set, and a balance circuit having a current balancing transformer, a first impedance and a second impedance for balancing currents through the first and second iamps. The current balancing transformer includes a first winding and a second winding. The first and second windings are wound on the same magnetic core and have the same winding count. A specific relationship between the first and second impedances balances the current values through the first and second lamps effectively without increasing inductances of the current balancing transformer.

  • Publication number: 20050046636
Abstract: A system for OSD (On Screen Display) editing and display. The system includes storage media, a display module and a processing unit. The storage media stores a first display of an OSD for the monitor. The display module displays the first display and an editing interface. The first display is edited using the display module and the editing interface to generate an edited first display. The processing unit, connected to the storage media and the display module, updates the edited first display to the storage media, and display it when the OSD is launched.

  • Publication number: 20030227435
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for adjusting and detecting the brightness of a backlight of a liquid crystal display. The adjusting method includes setting a predetermined value having the brightness information, detecting the brightness of the backlight and getting a detected value which is an analog signal, transferring the analog signal to a digital signal, comparing the digital signal with the predetermined value. Then, if the digital signal is not equal to the predetermined value, then the microprocessor determines an adjusting value. According to the adjusting value, the microprocessor adjusts the brightness of the backlight.

  • Patent number: 6147464
Abstract: A compensation control circuit of horizontal scanning size suitable to be used in a general monitor to compensate the variation amount of horizontal scanning size due to the influence of the anode load current. The compensation control circuit includes two parts: One is the horizontal scanning size compensation circuit and the other is the horizontal scanning size control circuit. The horizontal scanning size compensation circuit is coupled to the coil of the fly-back transformer to generate a corresponding compensation signal according to the variation of the anode load current. The compensation signal is far lower than the level of the anode voltage. Therefore, it can be processed by the general electric circuits. The horizontal scanning size control circuit is coupled to the horizontal scanning size compensation circuit to receive the compensation signal. The compensation signal can combine with the shift regulation signal sent by the microprocessor to be a D.C. modulation signal. Then the D.C.

  • Patent number: 6137245
Abstract: A control grid voltage generating circuit comprises a high voltage source, a low voltage source and an amplifier biased by the high/low voltage sources. The high voltage source is coupled to the ground through a low-impedance path. The amplifier receives an input signal and generates a control grid voltage in response to the input signal. When the CRT is powered off, the amplifier can be rapidly discharged via the low-impedance path, thereby speedily turning off the amplifier. The control grid voltage is then driven to be the low reference voltage, thereby cutting off the electron beam and protecting the CRT.
