  • Publication number: 20240112869
Abstract: A keyboard device includes a key module and a backlight module. The key module includes a supporting plate and plural key structures. The key structures are installed on the supporting plate. The backlight module includes a light guide plate, a light-sheltering layer, a reflecting layer, a light-emitting unit, a base plate and an opaque structure. The light guide plate includes a second opening. The second opening includes a lateral wall. The light-sheltering layer is located over the light guide plate. The light-sheltering layer includes a third opening. The reflecting layer is located under the light guide plate. The reflecting layer includes a fourth opening. The light-emitting unit emits a light beam into the light guide plate. The opaque structure is arranged between the light-sheltering layer and the reflecting layer. The opaque structure is located beside the lateral wall of the light guide plate.

  • Patent number: 11845654
Abstract: According to at least one embodiment, a method of fabricating a micro electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) structure is disclosed. The method involves causing an etchant to remove a portion of a sacrificial layer of the MEMS structure, the sacrificial layer between a structural layer of the MEMS structure and a substrate of the MEMS structure. In this embodiment, causing the etchant to remove the portion of the sacrificial layer involves causing a target portion of the substrate to be released from the MEMS structure. According to another embodiment, another method of fabricating a MEMS structure is disclosed. The method involves causing an etchant including water to remove a portion of a sacrificial layer of the MEMS structure, the sacrificial layer between a structural layer of the MEMS structure and a substrate of the MEMS structure. In this embodiment, the sacrificial layer and the substrate are hydrophobic.

  • Patent number: 11783218
Abstract: An apparatus for facilitating electromagnetic wave resonator tuning is disclosed, including first, second, and third spaced apart resonator portions, the second portion disposed between the first and third to form an electromagnetic wave resonator having a resonant frequency, wherein the first and second portions define a first volume therebetween and the second and third define a second volume therebetween, a first actuator coupled to the first portion, the second, or both, the first actuator configured to adjust a width of the first volume, and a second actuator coupled to the second portion, the third, or both, the second actuator configured to adjust a width of the second volume, wherein the actuators are configured to decrease the widths of the first and second volumes or increase the widths of the first and second volumes to adjust the resonant frequency of the resonator. Other apparatuses, methods, and systems are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 11379494
Abstract: Partitioning of temporal databases can implement distributed storage of temporal data via time-based or space-based techniques to improve performance of operators on the database. A variety of operators can be supported for the partitioned tables, including temporal aggregation, time travel, and temporal join. The use of checkpoints can greatly increase performance in a variety of scenarios. The described partitioning techniques can be applied in a parallel execution context to great benefit. The partitioning can also reduce local memory footprint, facilitating in-memory database processing.

  • Patent number: 9811571
Abstract: Data that includes a query of a temporal database is received from a remote application server. The query specifies at least one fact and a system time and an application time for the at least one fact. Thereafter, a bitemporal timeline index is accessed to identify data responsive to the query. The bitemporal timeline index includes a system time dimension and an application time dimension. Next, the identified data can be retrieved and provided to the remote application server. Related apparatus, systems, techniques and articles are also described.
