    Abstract: A workpiece measuring apparatus and a method for measuring a workpiece are provided. A first image of a first portion of a workpiece is captured, and a first location of the first portion is determined. A second image of a second portion is captured that is selected according to the first location and the location of a portion of the workpiece to be measured, and a second location of the second portion is determined. If the second image determines that the first location is correctly determined, a workpiece holding unit is moved along the original direction; otherwise, the second image replaces the first image, and the workpiece holding unit is moved along a new direction. Also, a third image of a third portion of the workpiece is further captured to replace the second image, until the third image determines that the second location is correctly determined.

    Abstract: A stereoscopic display system including a display apparatus and an image guiding plate is provided. The display apparatus provides diverge images. The display apparatus includes a plurality of stereoscopic display unit groups. Each of the stereoscopic display unit groups includes at least one stereoscopic display unit. Each of the stereoscopic display units includes a plurality of pixel groups. In each of the stereoscopic display units, the pixel groups provide a plurality of image beams corresponding to parts of the diverge images. Different stereoscopic display units correspond to different parts of the diverge images. The image guiding plate is disposed on a transmission path of the image beams. The image guiding plate includes a plurality of optical structures arranged periodically, so as to respectively guide the image beams to a plurality of directions. Furthermore, an image display method of the foregoing stereoscopic display system is provided.

    Abstract: A stereo display system including a plurality of projection apparatuses and a screen module is provided. The projection apparatuses project a plurality of image beams. The screen module is disposed in front of the projection apparatuses, wherein the image beams are transmitted toward the screen module. The screen module includes a light diffusion layer and a beam splitting layer. The light diffusion layer has at least one diffusion direction, and the light diffusion layer diffuses the image beams with a diffusion angle. The light diffusion layer is disposed between the beam splitting layer and the projection apparatuses, wherein each of the image beams is divided into a plurality of sub image beams by the beam splitting layer. The sub image beams of each image beam transmit with different angles, such that the image beams form a plurality of stereo image viewing zones after passing through the screen module.

The 3D display system includes a plurality of multi-viewing zone miniaturized imaging modules and an image output module. The image output module is for editing, adjusting and distributing a multi-viewing zone image to the multi-viewing zone miniaturized imaging modules for display. Each multi-viewing zone miniaturized imaging module includes a housing, a projection unit and a viewing zone modulating screen. The projection unit and the viewing zone modulating screen are respectively disposed on two opposite sides inside the housing. In each multi-viewing zone miniaturized imaging module, the projection unit projects an image onto respective viewing zone modulating screen, and forms a plurality of viewing zones in front of the viewing zone modulating screen, wherein the image is a segmented image of an image composed of a plurality of images having different view-angles.

    Abstract: An auto-stereoscopic display suitable for being viewed by a viewer is provided. The auto-stereoscopic display includes a display panel and an adjustable parallax barrier module. The adjustable parallax barrier module is disposed between the display panel and the viewer. The adjustable parallax barrier module includes a plurality of parallax barrier stacked upon each other. The distances between the display panel and each of the parallax barrier are different. One of the parallax barriers is selected and enabled based on the distance between the viewer and the display panel. Besides, a method of fabricating the auto-stereoscopic display is also provided.

    Abstract: An autostereoscopic displaying unit is for displaying an image, which includes a plurality of viewing-zone images corresponding to a plurality of viewing zones. The autostereoscopic displaying unit includes a viewing zone adjusting module for adjusting a content of each pixel of the image corresponding to a determined one of the viewing zones according to a viewing-zone shifting information. The viewing-zone shifting information includes a viewing-zone correction for distortion of a projection lens, and the image is then modified as an adjusted image. A projection module with the projection lens projects the adjusted image. A viewing zone modulating screen receives and displays the adjusted image.
