    Abstract: The present invention provides a general use tapping screw, which is a two-line screw having a cylindrical body, and main threads and auxiliary threads which are formed on the outer circumferential surface of the body, wherein the outer diameter of the auxiliary threads is 92˜97% the outer diameter of the main threads, the angle of the front flank surfaces of the main threads and the auxiliary threads is in the range of 12±3 degrees, the angle of the rear flank surfaces of the main threads is in the range of 25±3 degrees, the angle of the rear flank surfaces of the auxiliary threads is in the range of 20±3 degrees, and intervals between a first pitch from the main thread to the auxiliary thread and a second pitch from the auxiliary thread to the next main threads have a difference in the range of ±10-20%.

    Abstract: Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for preventing the degradation of RF performance due to a change in impedance of an antenna in a mobile communication terminal. The mobile communication terminal includes a plurality of impedance matching circuits and a controller of the mobile communication terminal is adapted to measure the reflection voltage of the antenna, select one impedance matching circuit corresponding to the measured reflection voltage, and connected with the antenna through the selected impedance matching circuit. As a result, when the impedance value of the antenna is changed, it is possible to prevent the degradation of performance of the RF module of the mobile communication terminal by using an impedance matching circuit, which can optimize the reflection loss caused by the reflection voltage of the antenna according to a change in impedance value.

The mobile station receives a multicast service by accessing the macrocell or the microcell according to a carrier-to-interference ratio (C/I) for the multicast service measured in a macrocell area and according to an existence or non-existence of a concurrent call currently in service. When there is no concurrent call currently in service, the mobile station receives the multicast service by accessing the macrocell in an area where the measured C/I is equal to or greater than a required C/I. However, when there is a concurrent call currently in service, the mobile station receives the multicast service by accessing the macrocell or the microcell based on the current cell and the C/I.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for generating a white signal component and for controlling the brightness of an image are provided. In the above method and apparatus, the brightness increases of Red, Green and Blue, the saturations of which are not decreased from an input image are calculated using a vector, and the minimum value of such increases is utilized as the input value for the white component. Further, by adding brightness control components of RGB color to the input RGB signals, brightness increases in the direction of the original colors instead of the achromatic one are possible, which is the way the white component is added so as to increase the luminance of color display devices representing a color using a color filter such a flat panel display. Accordingly, a color saturation of the image is not decreased even with addition of the achromatic color component.
