  • Publication number: 20240097995
Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a network topology display method and a communication apparatus, to improve availability and a visualization effect of a network management and control system. The method in embodiments of this application includes: A communication apparatus obtains a multi-level subnet topology structure, determines a subnet density of a first network element based on a layout setting of a user for a physical position of a subnet of the first network element in the multi-level subnet topology structure, and then determines a current scale based on a zoom operation performed by the user on a display area; and when a product of the scale and the subnet density is greater than a preset value, the communication apparatus expands the subnet of the first network element.

  • Patent number: 11552881
Abstract: In a troubleshooting method, a controller first determines that a fault occurs on a first multi-layer link passing through a first port on a first network device, where the first multi-layer link is a link in a link aggregation group between the first network device and a second network device. The controller then releases an optical layer resource of the first multi-layer link, and deletes the first multi-layer link from the link aggregation group. The controller further establishes, a second multi-layer link for restoration of the first multi-layer link, based on a first idle port on the first network device and a second idle port on a target network device, and adds the second multi-layer link to a target link aggregation group between the first network device and the target network device.

  • Publication number: 20220103250
Abstract: This application describes a fault protection method for an optical network. A cross-layer controller connecting an optical network and an IP network sends, to an optical controller in the optical network, an indication that a first optical service in an optical fiber belongs to a first priority and a second optical service in the optical fiber belongs to a second priority. The first priority is related to a feature of the first IP link in the IP network, and the second priority is related to a feature of the second IP link in the IP network. When the optical fiber is faulty, a protected priority of any optical service belonging to the first priority is higher than a protected priority of any optical service belonging to the second priority.
