Abstract: A quick release clamp includes a handle pivotally fixed on a U-shaped bracket via a pin. The U-shaped bracket has a central hole at a base therein and two plates integrally and perpendicularly extended from two sides of the base. A bolt device having a head portion and a rod portion is threadedly engaged with a nut by a lower end of the rod portion with the rod penetrating the hole of the U-shaped bracket and the head portion being slidably received in the U-shaped bracket. A transverse hole is formed in the head portion of the bolt device for receiving a middle portion of the pin. The pin has a recess formed at a middle portion thereof suitable to receive a peripheral portion of the transverse hole of the head portion of the bolt device. The pin is rotatable in concert with the handle thus allowing the bracket to be manually moved close to or away from the nut.

Abstract: A universally rotatable nipple for a brake cable includes a socket device having a hemispherical body and a first tube extending from a periphery portion of the hemispherical body and a rotatable device including a sphere and a second tube extending from a periphery portion of the sphere. The sphere of the rotatable device is rotatably received in the hemispherical body of the socket device with the second tube being in communication with the first tube, thus allowing a brake cable to be guided from the second tube through the first tube. The rotatable nipple responds to the pulling from the brake cable and rotates in an appropriate direction to release the friction between the nipple and the brake cable.

Abstract: A wedge-nut assembly including (a) a wedge with a tubular cross section including at least three radially inwardly convex portions longitudinally extending on an inner side thereof and a corresponding number of blocks projecting from the radially inwardly convex portions and (b) a nut including two annular flanges between which the blocks are disposed so that the nut is mounted in the tubular wedge.

Abstract: A handlebar including a bracket fixed on top of a stem, a pair of lugs extended upward from the bracket and each having a curved groove, a shank having one end pivotally coupled between the lugs, a bracket disposed below the shank and coupled to the shank, a bolt extended through each of the grooves and engaged with the bracket, and a resilient member coupled between the shank and the bracket for absorbing vibrations and shocks transmitted to the handlebar.
