Abstract: A display device is provided. The display device includes a command processing unit, a command converting unit, a universal serial bus (USB) interface and a display module. The command processing unit processes a remote-control command from a remote-controller. The command converting unit generates a human interface device (HID) command corresponding to the remote-control command. The USB interface outputs the HID command to an external host which generates an image in response to the HID command. Then the display module displays the image.

Abstract: A flexible solar power collector includes a flexible transparent outer tube, a flexible black inner tube inserted through the flexible transparent outer tube for guiding water to a water heater, sealing devices that seal the two ends of the flexible transparent outer tube to define a greenhouse within the flexible transparent outer tube around the flexible black inner tube, a flexible photoelectric converter fastened to the bottom side of the flexible transparent outer tube to convert solar energy into electric energy, and a flexible electrothermal converter connected to the flexible photoelectric converter to transform electric energy into thermal energy.

Abstract: Boot systems and methods. The system comprises a memory, a block storage device, and a boot loader. The block storage device stores at least an executable image, such as an operating system image, and a boot info file recording at least a location of the executable image in the block storage device, a length of the executable image, and a starting location of the executable image to be written to the memory. When the embedded system boots, the boot loader reads the boot info file, reads the executable image from the block storage device according to the location of the executable image in the block storage device and the length of the executable image, and writes the executable image to the memory from the starting location.
