  • Publication number: 20240146205
Abstract: A flyback power converter includes a power transformer, a first lossless voltage conversion circuit, a first low-dropout linear regulator and a secondary side power supply circuit. The first low-dropout linear regulator (LDO) generates a first operation voltage as power supply for being supplied to a sub-operation circuit. The secondary side power supply circuit includes a second lossless voltage conversion circuit and a second LDO. The second LDO generates a second operation voltage. The first operation voltage and the second operation voltage are shunted to a common node. When a first lossless conversion voltage is greater than a first threshold voltage, the second LDO is enabled to generate the second operation voltage to replace the first operation voltage as power supply supplied to the sub-operation circuit; wherein the second lossless conversion voltage is lower than the first lossless switching voltage.

  • Publication number: 20240095467
Abstract: Translating applications to a target language includes extracting program integrated information (PII) to be translated and creating translation context datasets based on interpretation of accessibility information associated with particular strings of PII. Translation pairs include PII and corresponding context datasets for context-based translation of application components. A two-stage index contains PII strings for first stage lookup and context datasets for distinguishing duplicate PII strings as a second stage lookup. Real-time translation is facilitated by the two-stage index, which is established by translation pairs and resulting translations.

  • Publication number: 20240069912
Abstract: A method for identifying hard-coded strings in source code is disclosed. In one embodiment, such a method parses source code and associated localization resource files to identify hard-coded strings and their associated context. The method provides a confidence score for each hard-coded string that indicates whether the hard-coded string is translatable or non-translatable. Based on the confidence score for each hard-coded string, the method transforms each hard-coded string into a single equivalence word. The method then prepares training data by tagging the hard-coded strings in the source code and associated localization resource files as one of translatable and non-translatable. The method then trains a parts-of-speech (POS) tagging model using the training data. At runtime, the method fetches potential hard-coded strings and tags each hard-coded string as one of translatable and non-translatable using the POS tagging model. A corresponding system and computer program product are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 11914541
Abstract: In example implementations, a computing device is provided. The computing device includes an expansion interface, a first device, a second device, and a processor communicatively coupled to the expansion interface. The expansion interface includes a plurality of slots. Two slots of the plurality of slots are controlled by a single reset signal. The first device is connected to a first slot of the two slots and has a feature that is compatible with the single reset signal. The second device is connected to a second slot of the two slots and does not have the feature compatible with the single reset signal. The process is to detect the first device connected to the first slot and the second device connected to the second slot and disable the feature by preventing the first slot and the second slot from receiving the single reset signal.

  • Patent number: 11787056
Abstract: An obstacle avoidance method for a robot arm is provided, including a modeling step, a collecting and evaluating coordinates step, an obtaining control parameter step, an establishing an occupation function step, and a finding an obstacle avoiding posture step. The present invention pre-stores the data obtained in performing the modeling step, the step of collecting and evaluating coordinates, the step of obtaining control parameter, and the step of establishing the occupation function into a database, thereby allowing the robot arm to quickly evaluate whether a collision behavior will occur in subsequent execution of a task. If a collision will occur, the robot arm executes the step of the finding the obstacle avoiding posture to dodge obstacles. The invention uses a non-contact approach for anti-collision design, which can improve the shortcomings faced by the existing contact type anti-collision design.

  • Patent number: 9846945
Abstract: A method for generating an orientation image, adapted to an electronic device, includes the following steps. A plurality of input pixels including a current input pixel of an input image is received. Edge detection is performed on the current input pixel in a first and second direction to generate a first current gradient and a second current gradient respectively with respect to the first direction and the second direction. A ratio of the first current gradient to a current gradient absolute sum is calculated to obtain a current ratio, where the current gradient absolute sum is a sum of absolute values of the first and second current gradient. A sign of the second current gradient is extracted to obtain a current sign. The current ratio and the current sign are inputted to a lookup table to obtain an image orientation angle corresponding to the current input pixel.

  • Patent number: 8648956
Abstract: An image capture device and a dustproofing method thereof. The image capture device comprises a switch module, optical-component adaptor module, optical-component adaptor detecting module, mask module, power detecting module and controlling module. The switch module switches the image capture device on or off and produces an on signal or off signal correspondingly. The optical-component adaptor detecting module detects whether a removable optical-component is connected with the optical-component adaptor module and produces a detecting signal. The power detecting module measures the residual power in the image capture device and produces a residual power signal. The controlling module, according to the on signal, off signal, detecting signal and the residual power signal controls the mask module to shield or un-shield the photosensor. Abstract: This invention discloses an image capturing device and a vibration dust removal method thereof. The image capturing device comprises a power supply component, an image sensor, a vibration dust removal component, a power detection module and a controller. The vibration dust removal component produces vibrations for dust removal. The power detection module detects a power value of the power supply component, and produces an electric power signal. The controller electrically connects the vibration dust removal component and the power detection module. The controller determines a maximum value of the amplitude of a vibration produced by the vibration dust removal component according to the electric power signal to control the vibration dust removal component to execute a vibration dust removal operation of the image sensor.

  • Patent number: 5224571
Abstract: A brake force adjuster for a vehicle brake especially for a bicycle brake includes a hanger holding a hanging wire secured with a pair of brake shoes for operatively clamping a wheel rim of a vehicle wheel for braking purpose, an adjustable locking latch resiliently tensioned on the hanger normally frictionally locking a braking wire remotely connected to a brake lever to be operated by a vehicle driver, and a locking bolt locking the braking wire on the hanger. When unlocking the locking bolt and pulling the adjustable locking latch, the hanger may be freely moved along the braking wire for adjusting a clamping force of the braking shoes. After releasing the locking latch, the locking latch will resiliently frictionally lock the braking wire which is then firmly locked by the locking bolt also formed on the hanger. Therefore a brake force adjuster of a vehicle brake can be easily assembled and adjusted.
