  • Patent number: 10837481
Abstract: A flush mount retainer assembly adapted to be received within a panel opening is provided. The flush mount retainer assembly includes a base defining a threaded bore for receiving a fastener and a front and back support members that each resiliently flex outwardly in response to the fastener engaging the threaded bore. Front and back retention members extend from the front and back support members, respectively, to limit movement of the flush mount retainer assembly relative to the panel prior to the bore being engaged by the fastener. The flush mount retainer assembly further includes first and second-side retention members disposed between vertical portions of the front and back support member and being adapted to stabilized the flush mount retainer assembly within panel openings having certain depths.

  • Patent number: 8959730
Abstract: A push-on clip fastener for securing two components together, such as interior automotive components. The push-on clip fastener includes a housing, a cover and a spring. The housing may include an aperture, wherein the housing may be capable of being located over a stud to secure an interior automotive component there between. The cover may include a pair of legs, wherein the cover may be insertable into the housing. The legs may be inserted into the housing cause the spring to straighten. The spring may include a slot, wherein the slot may be aligned with the aperture in the housing. The straightening of the spring may cause a clamp load. The housing may also include projections located on each side of the housing. The cover may also include retaining features located on each side of the cover that may be engageable with the housing projections to secure the fastener together.

  • Patent number: 6014840
Abstract: A heated sliding window assembly comprising a fixed portion comprising a circumferential frame and a fixed pane attached to the circumferential frame, with the fixed pane having an electrically conductive heating grid. A sliding pane is slidable within the circumferential frame between an open position and a closed position, and the sliding pane has an electrically conductive heating grid. A first conductive element is mounted on the fixed portion and a second conductive element is mounted on the sliding pane. The first and second conductive elements are routed through a latch assembly, and are electrically connected together when the sliding pane is in the closed position. To connect the heating grid of the sliding pane to the heating grid of a second fixed pane, third and fourth conductive elements are employed, either routed through the same latch assembly as the above mentioned first and second conductive elements or mounted at an end of the sliding pane remote from the latch assembly.
