  • Publication number: 20040128000
Abstract: A system and method for controlling a process is disclosed. A grid is displayed on a screen, wherein the grid includes at least one row and a plurality of columns, and the intersection of each row with each column forms a sector. Each row is associated with at least one I/O point, and each column is associated with a time interval. Setpoints are entered into each sector and a plurality of time interval signals are generated by a timer. The I/O points are set to a setpoint in a selected sector, wherein the sector is selected based on the row associated with the I/O point, the time interval associated with the sector and the time interval signal.

  • Patent number: 6749689
Abstract: A reciprocating coating system for coating objects. The reciprocating coating system includes a computer controller for controlling the motion of a coating device, and to allow configuration of system parameters. Configurable parameters include stroke length, stroke center point and stroke speed.

  • Publication number: 20040019407
Abstract: A method, program embodied on a computer readable medium, and various systems are provided for generating a process trajectory. A normalized image of an object is displayed on a display device of a computer system, the object including a surface that is to be processed using an end effector. A number of predefined trajectories are stored in a memory of the computer system, each of the predefined trajectories defining a motion of the end effector to process a surface of one of a number of spatial definitions. A trajectory generation system is implemented to generate the process trajectory for the end effector to process the surface of the object by associating at least one of the predefined trajectories with the normalized image.

  • Patent number: 5793286
Abstract: An intrusion and alarm sending arrangement having at least one motion sensing device and a first motion signal threshold device has an input connected to said motion sensing device for generating a motion alarm indication in response to a motion signal exceeding a motion threshold determined by said first motion threshold device. At least one infrasonic sensing device is connected to a first infrasonic threshold device having an input connected to said infrasonic sensing device for generating an infrasonic alarm indication in response to an infrasonic signal exceeding an infrasonic threshold determined by said first infrasonic threshold device. A decision device has a motion alarm input and an infrasonic alarm input for respectively receiving said motion alarm indication and said infrasonic alarm indication, and an output, for generating a valid alarm indication upon determining simultaneity of said motion alarm indication and said infrasonic alarm indication.

  • Patent number: 5765348
Abstract: A device for mowing, cutting, and mulching of vegetation in a single pass over the terrain. A movable folding shroud is provided that is pivoted upward to expose a cutter for severing larger trees. The device may be configured so that mowing, cutting, and mulching operations are all performed while traveling in the same direction. Alternatively, the device may be configured so that mowing and mulching operations are performed while traveling in one direction, with cutting operations performed while traveling in the opposite direction. The device may also be configured with a dispensing assembly for applying chemicals onto the cut vegetation to obtain a more effective kill and minimize re-growth.
