Patent number: 9132773Abstract: A mobile communication system for collection, determination and/or distribution of data to and from a server. The server executes analysis algorithms that analyze data received from multiple communication and data sources to develop predictions about the likelihood of future alerts or threats in geographic locations. The server communicates the predictions to communication devices based on the geographic locations corresponding to each of the communication devices. The communication system incorporates data through interfaces between data collection components and mobile communication devices that includes a communication element. The communication element transmits data between the data collection components and the mobile communication device. A user interface of the mobile communication device may communicate the information to a user of the electromagnetic signal detector.Type: GrantFiled: March 15, 2013Date of Patent: September 15, 2015Assignee: Cobra Electronics CorporationInventors: Sally Ann Washlow, Wilfred Charles Boudreau, Robert Ryan Brandys, Brian Neal Hosler, Ronald Byron Kabler, Monica Marie Vondruska

Patent number: 8311546Abstract: A wireless communication device for use in a noisy or harsh environment in connection with a cellular telephone is disclosed. The wireless communication device provides enhanced audio broadcasting capabilities for an operator of the device by providing a larger, more powerful speaker than that typically found in a cellular telephone. The apparatus of the present invention improves cellular telephone usage in the typically noisy and harsh environment found while operating a boat. The present apparatus further provides a half-duplex mode of communication to further reduce ambient noise experienced while using a cellular telephone in a noisy environment In another embodiment, the apparatus is connectable to a variety of external devices and is capable of operating the external devices and providing internet access for a variety of external devices through a cellular telephone connection In at least one embodiment, the present invention is connectable to any transceiver.Type: GrantFiled: February 9, 2009Date of Patent: November 13, 2012Assignee: Cobra Electronics CorporationInventors: Wilfred Charles Boudreau, James Richard Johnson, Robert Edward Mudra, Christopher Steven deWaal

Publication number: 20110214237Abstract: One embodiment of this patient transferring device is that it remains flexible. This flexible, split apart stretcher provides a way to convey patients from one location to another. This application has flexible rubber tubing 22 for a frame to help the materials used keep its shape while remaining flexible. This application provides reliable handgrip openings 20 that allow users to hold directly onto the rubber tubing frame 22 sewn into the lateral edges. This application utilizes a low density polyethylene center spline 14 that gets inserted through alternating loopholes 16 off of the left 10 and the right 12 sides of the application. The center spline 14 going through the alternating loopholes 16 allow for this application to be split apart and removed from under a patient. Removal of this application is done by withdrawing the center spline 14 from the loopholes 16 and pulling both the left 10 and the right 12 sides of the application out from its respective side.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 8, 2010Publication date: September 8, 2011Inventors: James Charles Boudreau, Thomas Richard Stuckart

Patent number: 5574186Abstract: There is disclosed a novel process for the enantioselective synthesis of chiral amino alcohols from keto oxime ethers, which are derived from cyclic ketones, via catalytic asymmetric reduction, employing oxazaborolidine-borane complex (OAB-BH.sub.3). In this catalytic reduction process two chiral centers are created in a single step with high levels of stereoselectivity.Type: GrantFiled: March 8, 1995Date of Patent: November 12, 1996Assignee: Merck & Co., Inc.Inventors: Charles Boudreau, Richard D.
