Publication number: 20060162347Abstract: Apparatus for dispensing a product includes a surface with a rotary axis and a periphery for supporting a layer of material, a motor for rotating the surface, a vertical forming cylinder positioned adjacent to the periphery, the cylinder having a side window opposite the periphery and a bottom opening below the surface, and a first scraper positioned above the surface and extending cross-wise to the direction of rotation of the surface. The first scraper engages the rotary surface while the surface is rotating to scrape the material into a row of scrapings on the surface. A second scraper is positioned above the surface adjacent to the first scraper and extends perpendicular to the first scraper, the second scraper engaging the surface and being movable parallel to the first scraper.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 6, 2006Publication date: July 27, 2006Applicant: MooBella, LLCInventors: Paul Kateman, Charles Brunner

Publication number: 20050198990Abstract: A method of dispensing a food product composed of a plurality of ingredients which are mixed to form the food product, includes the steps of providing a rotary surface having a rotary axis and a periphery, mixing together first and second fluid ingredients to form a liquid product mix, depositing the liquid product mix onto the surface while rotating the surface so that the liquid product mix spreads out on the surface in a layer, cooling the surface to a temperature low enough to at least partially freeze said layer to form a frozen product body, removing the product body from the surface as product body scrapings, and collecting and compacting the scrapings to form the food product. Apparatus for carrying out the method is also disclosed.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 22, 2004Publication date: September 15, 2005Inventors: Paul Kateman, Charles Brunner

Publication number: 20030102698Abstract: A retainer system for vehicle soft tops and tonneau covers. The system includes a belt attached to the edge of the fabric of the top or tonneau cover and a channel member mounted on the vehicle to selectively receive the belt. The belt is provided with a stop mechanism to positively prevent the belt from peeling out of the retaining channel member farther than desired. In the preferred embodiments, the stop mechanism is a notch or cutout in the belt. With the present retainer system, the notch will effectively stop the peel or withdrawal of the belt from the retaining channel at a predetermined location along the channel. In this manner, the belt and attached top or tonneau cover can be partially removed from engagement along the channel member to make it easier and quicker for the operator to perform a number of desirable tasks.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 29, 2002Publication date: June 5, 2003Inventors: Michael C. Stevens, Rick H. Troeger, Nancy L. Brunner, Charles A. Brunner, Timothy J. Gile

Patent number: 6259074Abstract: The temperature regulating device of the instant invention accurately regulates the temperature of a fluid to be sent through a conduit for either warming or cooling an infusate that is to be provided to a patient. The heater/cooler that is used for regulating the temperature of the fluid, and the fluid itself, are continuously monitored by a number of sensors, which provide feedback signals to a processor controller, to ensure that the temperature of the fluid is maintained at a desired temperature. The fluid is circulated by a pump which operation is also continuously monitored. A special connector assembly provides the inlet/outlet connection between the device and the fluid conduit. The connector assembly is constructed such that the system would operate only when the connector of the fluid conduit is correctly mated thereto.Type: GrantFiled: October 26, 1999Date of Patent: July 10, 2001Assignee: Sims Level 1, Inc.Inventors: Charles Brunner, Vicent Waldron, Eugene B. Zarkhin, Pavel Kyn
