A call scripting process (62) continuously receives the user inputs entered on the at least one web page (22) and communicates the user inputs to the service creation environment (14).

Abstract: A web interface system (10) for a debit card service in a telecommunications network includes at least one service logic program (28) implementing the debit card service expressed in a web browser readable format, and a web server (30) adapted to store the at least one service logic program (28) and provide access thereto, in the form of at least one web page, by users via a web browser (36). A call scripting process (54) residing in the web server (30) continuously receives user inputs (52) entered on the at least one web page (34) and communicates the user inputs (52) to a predetermined node in the telecommunications network.

Abstract: An intelligent service peripheral device (28) includes a service intelligent unit (50) and a media processing unit (52). The service intelligence unit (50) has an intelligent service peripheral manager module (90) and a SS7 interface module (58). The SS7 interface module (58) receives service requests for a call from a service switching point (12) for processing by the intelligent service peripheral manager module (90). The intelligent service peripheral manager module (90) determines a routing package for the call based on the service request for transport to the service switching module (90) through the SS7 interface module (58). For service requests requiring special features, the intelligent service peripheral manager module (90) passes the request to a media processor manager module (92) within the media processing unit (52). The media processor manager module (92) establishes a connection between the originator of the call and a carrier interface module (94) within the media processing unit (52).

Abstract: A method for generating billing information for a call in a telecommunications network is disclosed. In one embodiment, a call initiation stimulus is received at a service switching system (112). The service switching system (112) notifies a service control system (104) of the call initiation stimulus. The service control system (104) generates a first TCAP connect message with a destination routing address portion having a billing information tag and customer billing information. The first TCAP connect message is transmitted to the service switching system (112), which transmits a response message to the service control system (104). The service control system (104) transmits a second TCAP connect message to the service switching system (112) in response to the response message. The service switching system (112) generates a billing record in response to the first TCAP connect message.
