  • Publication number: 20240160803
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for obtaining a model of an electric power grid; simulating first behaviors of a region using a first time resolution and a first modeling domain to determine operational parameters. Determining first values for the operational parameters at a first transition. Converting the first values into a second modeling domain at the first transition time point to obtain converted first values for initial conditions. Simulating second behaviors of the region using a second time resolution and the second modeling domain to determine second operational parameters. • Publication number: 20240088703
Abstract: High voltage discharge is provided. A system can include an electric motor of an electric vehicle electrically connected to a capacitor. A switching component can be connected with and intermediary to the electric motor and the capacitor. A controller can cause the switching component to enter a first state to cause the electric motor to convert electrical power of the capacitor to mechanical power to propel the electric vehicle, or convert mechanical power from a drive system of the electric vehicle to electrical power to charge the capacitor. The controller can cause the switching component to enter, in response to detection by the controller of an indication to discharge the capacitor, a second state to isolate the electric motor from the capacitor.

  • Publication number: 20230381605
Abstract: A method of making a golf club head includes interposing bonding tape between a first piece and a second piece of the golf club head such that the first piece is temporarily adhered to the second piece via a tackiness of the bonding tape. The method additionally includes positioning the first piece, the second piece, and the bonding tape, interposed between the first piece and the second piece, in a vacuum bag, and reducing a pressure within the vacuum bag, relative to a pressure external to the vacuum bag, such that the vacuum bag collapses onto the first piece and the second piece and compresses the bonding tape between the first piece and the second piece. The method also includes heating the bonding tape, at least to a curing temperature of the bonding tape, when the pressure within the vacuum bag is reduced.

Abstract: A method for electrical grid monitoring using aggregated smart meter data includes receiving, from an electric grid monitoring device, electrical data aggregated from a plurality of electric meters each connected to a secondary side of at least one electrical transformer within a local geographic region. Each electric meter is configured to generate measurement data based on measurements taken at a respective electrical load. The electrical data indicates one or more characteristics of a secondary electrical distribution system connected to the at least one electrical transformer. The method includes determining, based on the electrical data aggregated from the plurality of electric meters, one or more characteristics of the primary electrical distribution system connected to the electrical transformer.

  • Publication number: 20130120911
Abstract: A handheld electronic device has a device body and a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet. The device body includes a smooth surface. The pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet includes a film and a membrane. The film has an external surface and an internal surface. The external surface is uncolored or single-colored for a user to draw a desired picture. The membrane is made of a pressure-sensitive adhesive and silicon dioxide and is attached to the internal surface of the film. The pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet is pressed to the device body so as to make the membrane firmly adhered to the smooth surface of the device body. Therefore, the handheld electronic device can be customizable. Besides, the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet can be easily peeled off, which causes no damage to the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet and the device body so that the user can easily change the appearance of the handheld electronic device for variety.
