  • Publication number: 20230033093
Abstract: A system and method for performing range of motion measurements in an unsupervised manner. A user equipment with one or more cameras may be used with an application on the UE using the one or more cameras to measure range of motion of a user of the UE. The patient may record movement of the part of the body of interest, such as the head. The movement may be recorded in three dimensions (e.g., calculated from two dimensional coordinates of an image) and processed by the application, and the three rotational angles calculated corresponding to the difference between the final position of the head and the initial position of the head at the beginning of the recording. As a result, facial recognition is used to improve monitoring of range of motion during surgical recovery in an unsupervised environment.

  • Patent number: 10572542
Abstract: A system for identifying a vehicle includes an input interface and a processor. The input interface is configured to receive traffic from a vehicle bus. The processor is configured to determine a data fingerprint from the traffic; and determine an identifier for the vehicle from the fingerprint.

  • Patent number: 8061723
Abstract: A vertically adjustable baseball equipment apparatus includes a blow moldable support platform that forms a container indexing recess for capture of an equipment storage container. The container is vertically adjustable. A vertically elongated and telescoping extension handle is perpendicularly affixed and laterally offset on the platform. A pair of larger wheels is attached about one outer edge of the platform, allowing for a cantilevered leverage and support of the equipment container and rolling transport over uneven surfaces such as grass and dirt.

  • Publication number: 20080072656
Abstract: A novel displacement instrument that can be used to measure the density or modulus of an aggregate pier upon which a multistory building or parking garage can be built. The aggregate piers are often 35 feet or deeper. These aggregate piers are constructed by adding lifts of approximately 12 to 18 inches of aggregate at a time and tamping it into the pier forming hole. Each lift of aggregate is being tamped or struck by a force of approximately 15,000 psi or greater. The displacement instrument allows aggregate piers to be constructed having a density or modulus that is consistent from the bottom of the hole to the top of the hole. The displacement instrument would be mounted on the side plate of a hydraulic breaker that is mounted on the end of a boom of a crane. The displacement instrument need not be permanently installed on the side of the hydraulic breaker and it is freely removed and installed on another crane.

  • Patent number: 4948128
Abstract: A pool table designed to allow various poker games to be played using card values visibly marked on the balls and/or using plain unmarked balls. The plain unmarked balls have a unique electric name tag encoded therein which is read by an electronic reader system mounted beneath the table top. A ball mixing assembly is also mounted below the table top and there is structure for delivering specific or random pool balls upwardly through any of the various pockets of the table where they are then ejected onto the top of the table itself. An electronic circuit is connected to a computer which controls the instructions that are delivered to the various mechanical assemblies so that a variety of poker games may be played. A visual or private display is also connected to the computer to record the poker hands that are being obtained by each player.
