  • Patent number: 11617455
Abstract: A system and method for rotating an ornament, so that the ornament can be easily decorated. The decorating device has a housing that defines an interior compartment. Within the interior compartment, a mount receives and engages the neck of the ornament, therein temporarily connecting the ornament neck to the mount. The ornament is passed into the housing through an access opening in the housing. When connected to the mount in the housing, at least some of the ornament extends out of the housing through the access opening. A motor is used to rotate the mount and ornament. As the ornament rotates, the section of the ornament that extends out of the access opening can be contacted with marking devices. In this manner, the ornament can be decorated as it spins.

  • Publication number: 20190299320
Abstract: An electrode with an interchangeable head is provided. The electrode is generally designed to provide a welding electrode having a head that may be readily removed and interchanged with other electrode heads for improved electrode repair or to affect the characteristics of the electrical arc transmitted by the electrode. The electrode includes a shaft and a head removably secured to the shaft. The head may include a first securing member and a body having a distal end that terminates at a tip having a defined tip angle. The shaft may include a proximal end having a second securing member compatible with the first securing member to removably secure the head to the shaft.

  • Patent number: 9805831
Abstract: There is provided a fuel rod assembly comprising a first component of a zirconium-based material. The first component is in contact with or is located adjacent to a second component of a material different from the zirconium-based material, e.g. a nickel-based or iron-based alloy. A coating is disposed on an outer surface of the first component, which is effective to reduce an electrochemical corrosion potential difference between the first component and the second component relative to an electrochemical corrosion potential difference between the first component and the second component without the coating.
