  • Patent number: 7811082
Abstract: A gas circuit with a pilot light system for ranges includes pilot tubes from a gas manifold to burner assemblies. Quick connect couplings are provided between the pilot tubes and manifold so that the pilot tube can be removed easily. Two or more tubes can be connected to a single coupling. A master shutoff interrupts flow to the cooktop without interrupting flow to the oven.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 5, 2005
Date of Patent: October 12, 2010
    Assignee: Premark FEG, LLC
Inventors: Charles Czajka, Philip Joseph Pio Vincenty, Randall B. Diggins
  • Publication number: 20100154776
Abstract: A burner assembly includes a substantially annular two-piece burner head having a base and a top. A plate is located in a central opening of the burner head and includes a slot for holding a pilot burner. Burner head annular channels incorporate one or more air dams to provide a backpressure feature within the burner head for more even flame height and stability.
