  • Patent number: 11968793
Abstract: An insulating enclosure is disclosed, including: an opening in a side of the insulating enclosure, wherein the opening provides a conductor within a conduit passage into an interior of the insulating enclosure, wherein the conductor is to carry current from the inverter module, wherein a conductive sheath of the conduit is mechanically connected to the insulating enclosure via the opening; and a conductive liner, wherein the conductive liner provides a ground plane for components within the insulating enclosure, wherein the conductive liner covers at least a portion of the side of the insulating enclosure, and wherein the conductive liner is electrically connected to the conductive sheath of the conduit.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 10, 2023
Date of Patent: April 23, 2024
    Assignee: Lunar Energy, Inc.

  • Patent number: 8301193
Abstract: A mobile communications device, method, and medium are provided for enhanced video communications for hearing-impaired users. A hearing-impaired call mode can be selected by a user, causing the device to establish a hearing-impaired call mode configuration. Establishing a hearing-impaired call mode configuration can include disabling a microphone and speakers and enabling an adjustable camera. The adjustable camera can tilt, pan, change focus, and the like to maintain a region of interest within a viewing angle of the camera.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: October 30, 2012
    Assignee: Sprint Communications Company L.P.
Inventors: John David Lynch, Eric Eugene Miller, Charles Daniel Todd, Monika Kishor Panpaliya
  • Patent number: 8265167
Abstract: A method, system, and medium are provided for formatting video frames such that a region of interest is emphasized and the video frames can be encoded, communicated, and rendered without excessive processing burdens. A region of interest is identified in a video frame and a feature mask is created that represents the region of interest. The feature mask can be used to crop the video frame to remove background images that are not within the region of interest and the cropped video frame can be overlayed on a simulated background before being encoded and communicated to a display device.

  • Patent number: 8189052
Abstract: Media, systems, and methods are provided for evaluating a video processing technology based on subjective feedback. Videos from a plurality of sources for one or more subjective feedback targets are randomly selected. The selected videos with a video processing technology are processed, such that the selected videos include at least one impairment. The selected videos are transmitted to the one or more subjective feedback targets. Subjective feedback is received from the one or more subjective feedback targets regarding a perceptional aspect of the selected videos.
