  • Patent number: 11975504
Abstract: Webs of inflatable mailer pouches and associated methods are disclosed. Pouches include a multilayer inner cushion structure with inflatable compartments and a fill channel disposed at a first longitudinal edge of the structure. An outer layer with a closure flap is secured to the inner structure. The inner cushion structure and outer layer are folded at a bottom edge of the pouch to form first and second panels of the pouches. The fill channel may be disposed at a top of the first panel and the closure flap disposed at a top of either the first or the second panel. The fill channel extends beyond a top of the second panel and the closure flap is extendable beyond the top of the fill channel. When wound, the closure flap is folded so that the fill channel of each pouch layer is exposed at a lateral face of the cylinder.

  • Patent number: 11970164
Abstract: A vehicle computer system implements techniques to predict behavior of objects detected by a vehicle operating in the environment. The techniques include using a model to determine a first object trajectory for an object (e.g., a predicted object trajectory) and/or a potential object in an occluded area, as well as a second object trajectory for the object or potential object (e.g., an adverse object trajectory). The model is configured to use one or more algorithms, classifiers, and/or computational resources to predict candidate trajectories for the vehicle based on at least one of the first object trajectory or the second object trajectory. Based on the predicted behavior of the object (or potential object) and the predicted candidate trajectories for the vehicle, a vehicle computer system controls operation of the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20240119105
Abstract: A request is received for an answer to a problem comprising optimum assignment of a plurality of first entities to a plurality of second entities. A particle swarm optimization (PSO) is defined associated with a swarm comprising a plurality of particles, each particle location in the swarm representing an assignment of a first entity to a second entity. The PSO determines a set of solutions as a potential answer to the optimum assignment. A cost matrix is configured to analyze each solution PSO in accordance with a Hungarian algorithm, is configured to optimize at least one constraint associated with the pluralities of first and second entities and is applied to the set of PSO solutions generated to determine a cost score for each respective particle. The solution having the particle with best cost score is selected to be an optimized global best particle location for the next PSO iteration.

  • Publication number: 20240119205
Abstract: A computer-implemented method, system and computer program product for recommending design changes in designing a digital integrated circuit. An analysis of the digital integrated circuit being designed is performed, where the result of such an analysis involves violations being identified and stored. A stored violation, such as a cross-domain, cross-hierarchy and multi-cycle violation, may then be analyzed to identify a root cause of the violation using a rule. Such a rule may be used for triaging various failures in the cross-domain, cross-hierarchy and/or multi-cycle violation of the digital integrated circuit. A design change in the design of the digital integrated circuit may then be recommended based on the identified root cause of the violation. In this manner, the root cause of failures are effectively identified in the design of digital integrated circuits using an offline analysis of cross-domain, cross-hierarchy and/or multi-cycle violations using a rules-based approach.

  • Patent number: 11918285
Abstract: A medical device may include an elongated body having a distal elongated body portion and a central longitudinal axis. The medical device may include a balloon positioned along the distal elongated body portion. The balloon may be configured to receive a fluid to inflate the balloon such that an exterior balloon surface contacts a calcified lesion within a patient's vasculature. The medical device may include one or more pressure wave emitters positioned along the central longitudinal axis of the elongated body. The one or more pressure wave emitters may be configured to propagate at least one pressure wave through the fluid to fragment the calcified lesion. At least one pressure wave emitter may include an optical fiber configured to transmit laser energy into the balloon. The laser energy may be configured to create a cavitation bubble in the fluid.

  • Publication number: 20240032907
Abstract: A system includes a first tube, a sharp coil at a distal end of the first tube, a second tube displaceable within the first tube, and a sharp housing at a distal of the second tube for storing fasteners. The housing can be positioned at a first tissue, and the coil rotated to advance the coil into engagement with the first tissue. The first tube is retracted to retract the first tissue, and then a first fastener is deployed at the first tissue location. Then, without removing the system from the patient, the distal end of the system is moved adjacent a second tissue location, and the process is repeated for a second fastener at the second tissue location. A suture extends between the first and second fasteners, and tension is applied to the suture to draw the first and second tissues toward each other to reconfigure the tissue.

  • Publication number: 20230358004
Abstract: A snow removal assembly includes a truck that has a cab and a box that is positioned behind the cab. A chute is coupled to the cab of the truck to receive snow on a road upon which the truck is driving. An auger is rotatably disposed in the chute to urge the snow outwardly through the chute when the auger is turned on. A snow pipe is coupled to the chute for delivering the snow into the box and a pump is integrated into the snow pipe for urging the snow through the snow pipe. A heating unit is integrated into the box and the heating unit is in thermal communication with the box. Furthermore, the heating unit heats the box when the heating unit is turned on for melting the snow into water thereby facilitating the water to drain outwardly through the drain in the box for disposal.
